Nothing special... (Timotei Shampoo)

Advantages: Comes in a nicer bottle than a suermarket own-brand... (does that count?)

Disadvantages: Disappointingly falls short of it's claims

Although I am the only person in dooyoo to feel like this, I was really disappointed by Timotei's Repair & Shine shampoo (clearly I have overly high expectations)!

I received a trial sample of the shampoo, which plays on it's extracts of cotton ("renowned for its revitalizing, repairing properties") and peach milk ("renowned for its nourishing power"), claiming to restore good condition to treated, coloured and stressed hair. I was immediately dubious but the fact that my hair definitely falls under the description of 'stressed', and the wonderful imagery they had conjured up in me of cotton wool balls and peaches, I decided to give it a go.

And I felt..... nothing.

The shampoo isn't a bad shampoo, it does it's (cleansing) job fine but it simply isn't anything special. It doesn't have a wonderful scent, or leave your hair feeling super squeaky clean, or promote tons of shine, or even make hair easier to manage (you can see what I look for in a 'special shampoo!). Timotei's Repair & Shine is simply an ordinary shampoo. Admittedly I didn't manage to try the conditioner product and this may improve the overall effect, but on the whole I was left distinctly unimpressed.

Summary:
