Advantages: Lovely aroma and texture. Can get from Pound stores.
Timotei shampoo, according to the website, was launched in Sweden in the 1970's and came onto the United Kingdom market in 1983.
I change my brands of shampoo quite often, just to have a change. Variety is, after all, the spice of life, or so they say! But Timotei Golden Highlights is one of my favoured brands and I buy this more than any other brand. I always get the matching brand of conditioner too.
I will only pay one pound, or less, for a 250ml or 300ml bottle of shampoo so usually buy from a pound store or from Savers or when on offer from supermarkets or high street chemists. Sometimes I can't buy the same brand in the shampoo and conditioner so then usually go for another brand. There are a few shampoos that I like.
I've tried many varieties of the Timotei brand and I'm usually impressed but I love the golden highlights, the one in the golden bottle, the most.
I wash my hair every day and think it is in fairly good condition so, I am probably using the right hair products. This shampoo has an adorable smell, which lasts even after rinsing and drying. Also, the texture is smooth and just feels rich, creamy and luxurious.
My sixteen year old daughter also likes this and says it is her favourite too. It does bring out her blonde natural highlights well and her long hair does seem to benefit when using this product.
Summary: Well worth a try
