I always like to try new shampoos and conditioners, so when I spotted this brand in Boots I was instantly curious. The Tommyguns range comes in attractive square clear plastic bottles with black plastic flip-top lids, and the various varieties are all nice eye-catching colours. This Pomegranate and Orange Flower shampoo is a bright orange shade - it also comes in Nettle and Burdock, Sage and Basil, and Plum and something... all of which sound quite mouthwatering!
When I sniffed this shampoo I could instantly detect the fruity pomegranate and orange scents - it really does smell like a fruity cocktail! Scent is one of the most important things for me when I'm looking for hair products, so that swung it for me.

In Boots, this normally costs £5.99 for 250ml; however since buying it I have seen it on offer in Tesco for £2.50. That's still quite a lot for a shampoo; however it's definitely worth it as a treat or a gift.

The shampoo doesn't lather especially well, but it's easy to distribute through the hair and the smell is lovely when you're using it. It also rinses out really easily. After using, my hair did feel soft and had a gorgeous fragrance, but I'm not sure I noticed the 'extra shine' this shampoo promised. Perhaps if you used the matching conditioner you might see more of a difference.

Summary: There are better indulgent shampoos out there!
