Toni and guy daily style conditioner
I bought this product at the same time as I bought the "matching " shampoo, since I like to think that using the same products will help my hair in some way. My theory always unfortunately falls short of working out as I always use the shampoo quicker than I use the conditioner.
I bought this conditioner in Boots but it is widely available in major supermarkets and chemists. I think it cost around the £3 mark for 250ml of the product but it's worth looking out for special offers as hair products are often on offer.
The conditioner is designed to be suitable for daily use and promises to detangle and nourish hair, so leaving it moisturised and ready to style. Whilst is doesn't suggest that it offers any heat protection for hair, I always find my hair seems more strengthened and easier to style if conditioned.
The red bottle is red in colour and has the name in large letters on the side with the instructions and information on the back of the bottle. There is a pull off cap and beneath this the dispenser is a pump action type. As for the large plastic cap, things like this never get put back onto the bottle and end up in the bin.
The conditioner is white in colour and with a couple of presses of the pump I get enough of the product to condition my hair. It is a cream but not a really thick one, so it comes easily out of the bottle when the pump is pressed but like most products of this type, when I get to the end of the bottle, I do have to take the top off to ensure I make use of all of the conditioner. The conditioner is very lightly scented with a faint floral smell but nothing over powering or likely to react with my perfume.
To use the conditioner, it should be smoothed onto clean and wet hair and left for 2 minutes before rinsing out. If it gets into eyes it does sting so care should be taken. It does smooth on nice and easily and I tend to use enough to just add to the ends of my hair because too much and I find conditioner leaves my hair feeling heavy. I like the fact that I don't have to massage it in and can just leave the product before rinsing it out, and because it is a fairly light product it rinses out with very little effort.
WHAT I THINK OF THE CONDITIONER...
This is an easy to use conditioner which lasts for ages and which leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth without being fly away and unmanageable.
There isn't much of a scent so my hair doesn't necessarily smell just cleaned but it does look and feel clean and conditioned.
Since it is nice and light it is handy for people who have quite greasy hair, and Little Miss has used it over a period of time, when washing her hair every other day. Even with frequent use, there isn't a build up of product and hair isn't left looking as though there is product left unrinsed.
I don't wash my hair every day but could see this as being useful on holiday when I wash it more frequently.
Recommended for frequent hair conditioning

I bought this Conditioner the same time as I bought the Toni and Guy Shampoo. I got both out of the new Poundworld shop that has recently opened near to where I stay. There was only a couple of different Shampoos and Conditioners to choose from and none of them matched each other and I usually use the matching products, but I thought I would try it for the sake of £1. This comes in a 75ml bottle so is an ideal size if you want to try it. Not sure if this is available in the larger size as I know sometimes when things go to pound shops then they can sometimes be older stock or discontinued products but you can get good bargains I find.
The bottle is a red colour with white writing. It looks alright. This just has a twist off lid so easy enough to take off and put back on again.
The conditioner is quite thick and a small blob of this goes a long way. I have used this probably about 6 times and there is still what feels like a fair amount left in the bottle. The scent of this is nice enough. It is a Creamy kind of scent but there does seem to be a bit of a floral scent too.
I wasn't overly impressed with the Shampoo which I just wrote about but as I mentioned this is from a different range in Toni and Guy and although I am not currently still using the other Shampoo I am still using this Conditioner.
This seems to be Conditioning my Hair alright. After rinsing this off after leaving it on for a few minutes my Hair feels soft and smooth so I am happy enough with the results of this. It doesn't seem to be special compared to any other Conditioners but for the price and the branding then I find this to be good enough.
A good enough product and 1 that I would consider buying again.
As I mentioned in my last review I recently received a Toni & Guy hair product set just before Christmas and that did make me a very happy bunny as hair products are something I dont usually spend a lot of money on - Id rather buy fancy make-up than shampoo to be honest. Anyway so I was very happy when I got to try out these Toni & Guy products as Ive always heard such brilliant things about this brand and their products so I started to use a lot of them straight away starting with this 'Toni & Guy Daily Style Conditioner' which I had veyr high expectations for - as I always do when it comes to using expensive conditioner and I have to say this one does actually live up to its expectations. Im not 100% sure Id buy a bottle of this again for myself but Ill enjoy using it until my bottle runs out either way!
Price: £5.29 - 250ml bottle.
Stockists: Boots & Superdrug.
Other Info: Also available in a 75ml bottle. Promises to detangle & nourish your hair while moisturising and leaving your hair ready for styling.
This conditioner comes in a mainly red & white 75 ml bottle - its a block colour BUT you can still see how much product you have left so thats pretty good. On the back of the bottle is all the information you could possibly need - shelf life, ingredients, directions for use ETC. so if you have any questions they should be answered with the bottle. The bottle I personally have is a sample bottle so it doesnt have a flip cap or anything you will need to screw the top on and off to use the shampoo - which is annoying but Im assuming the bigger bottles will have a better design so I cant complain too much.
The conditioner itself is white in colour and VERY thick - it looks a lot like face lotion and because its so thick it means you dont have to use very much each time you apply it because it is instantly nourishing due to the thickness. With this one I recommend applying it to your hair and then combing through because you'll get the best effects that way I think - I find I do anyway. This smells exactly the same as the shampoo from this same range - a lot like The Bodyshop's White Musk scent which is quite pleasant but its not a scent that Id rush out to buy again and it doesnt linger for very long on your hair anyway so smell-wise this is pretty rubbish I thought.
This definitely made my hair feel much cleaner, more refreshed and it did feel much more nourished. My hair felt much smoother and softer than it had before I washed it with this and it was very easy to brush through and style after using this - and it made sure the style I did to my hair after using this stuck all day rather than just for 5 minutes. This is much better than most of the other Toni & Guy products Ive tried and when used alongside the matching shampoo this does work really well on my hair - it even makes it feel less dried out which is always a bonus. A brilliant conditioner - maybe a little too expensive for what it is but very good nonetheless.
I do recommend if your feeling a bit flush every now and again but I dont think I could use this for everyday use due to the price - fi you can afford it though go for i - but it will remain a treat for me and my hair.
Thanks For Reading.

Following my review of the Toni & Guy Daily Style Shampoo I am following with a review of Toni & Guy Daily Style Conditioner as I bought both products together during a shopping spree in Boots.
The Toni & Guy Daily Style Conditioner comes in a red plastic 250ml bottle. The bottle has a white plastic pump dispenser and lid. On the front of the bottle the Toni & Guy branding is written in large white font therefore it is highly apparent the bottle markets itself as being a "salon" brand.
Like the shampoo from this range the pump dispenser only dispenses a small amount of product. This is great for minimising wastage but needs around 10 presses of the pump to dispense a satisfactory amount of conditioner which when you are in a rush is slightly annoying.
The packaging states the product is for "your daily quick fix of moisture to optimise your hairs condition, detangle, nourish, and smooth for tresses that really shine". This does not state what type of hair the product is for but is described as "light" therefore from this I would assume that like the shampoo it is for those with normal/ greasy hair which do not need as much moisture and deep conditioning as those with drier hair.
Like the shampoo bottle from the same range from Toni & Guy the conditioner bottle is quite stylish and it does look good in the bathroom.
A 250ml bottle costs £4.99. This is an average price if compared to other "salon" brands but more expensive than many other conditioners on the market. You would expect because of the higher price the Toni & Guy Conditioner has superior results however in my opinion it doesn't and the results are simply average.
However in my opinion this is an overpriced product if you compare it to conditioners from the TRESemme range which are £4.00 (at a maximum) for 900ml and have far superior results.
The bottle states "smooth on wet hair, comb through, leave for 2 minutes, rinse".
The conditioner when dispensed from the bottle is a white colour gel. Like the shampoo it is quite thick in consistency. It applies very easily to hair and unlike the shampoo the conditioner spreads easily through hair so you do not need to use as much of the product. A 250ml bottle of the conditioner from Toni & Guy would probably last me around 4-5 weeks where the shampoo only lasted 3 weeks.
The conditioner has a scent very similar to the shampoo from the Toni & Guy range. It has a light fruity scent which is not at all overpowering. It is more of a "fruity" scent but in my opnion has slight hints of apricot and peach.
The conditioner is rinsed from hair very easily which is surprising as it feels quite greasy when first applied to hair. Once I finished rinsing my hair felt very light and clean and it did not feel like the conditioner had left a greasy coating to the hair.
After blow drying my hair I liked the fact my hair had a lovely light clean scent and as expected my hair smelt like when I have visited a hair salon. Running my hands through my hair my hair felt extremely clean and light and soft and I was extremely pleased that my hair did not have a sticky coating to it or that my hair was covered in a residue.
My hair looked shiny and soft therefore in good condition but it did not have a really glossy shiny look to it which other conditioners leave it with.
The product was particularly good for when I created curls in my hair as it left my hair feeling light and not weighed down by product. As a result I use this product when I curl my hair as it means that my hair looks shiny but the curls do not "drop" and the style lasts longer. So for those that want to style their hair and retain volume this product allows you to do this effective.
My hair did feel shiny and clean throughout the day and unlike many conditioners it did not leave my hair feeling overly greasy or lank in the evening. I was content with results of the conditioner but not overly enthusiastic and was left with the feeling that for the money I could have bought a much more effective product so was left feeling slightly disappointed and that I had wasted my money. I would recommend this conditioner for those with normal to greasy hair but not for those with dry hair as I feel that it would not condition the hair enough and not give it the added moisture that it needed.
This is simply an OK product. I was not dissatisfied with the Toni & Guy Daily Style Conditioner but I was also not blown away by it and left thinking it was a great product. It left my hair feeling conditioned and shiny, without leaving any residue or sticky but my hair has been left shinier and in better condition after using other cheaper conditioners.
For £4.99 for a 250ml bottle I feel that this is over priced for the average results that are achieved and your money would be better spent on a different conditioners
I was tempted by the Toni and Guy company slogan on the back of their conditioner bottle which reads: "Achieve salon status style with the right products and tools from Toni and Guy". I was also quite impressed with the appearance of the product: The no-nonsense 250ml size red bottle looks a lot like the high-science style bottles that my hairdresser relies on.
The conditioner is labelled as 'Daily Style Conditioner' which I assume to mean it is suitable for use daily and best for regular hair washing. There is nothing that indicates the conditioner is intended for a specific hair type. The conditioner is described as 'light', however, which might perhaps benefit those with greasy hair or those who use a lot of product, to avoid more build up.
The bottle has a push down dispenser top which squirts out just a little bit of conditioner. I find that I need to pump it at least twelve to fifteen times to generate the right amount of product for my long hair.
The liquid is white, gelatinous and has a waxy shine like glycerine. I find the smell to be very chemically - a bit like artifical coconut. It is a sharp, overpowering smell but not unpleasant.
When applying, the conditioner becomes very thin on contact with wet hair. It is quite difficult to rub in and can only be dispersed effectively by combing through. It is easy to rinse out.
My hair is managable after washing and when dry my hair feels light and thin. The conditioner has a very subtle effect and does not weigh the hair shaft down by clogging it. I do find though that when my hair is dry the final result can be a little bit fly-away, especially now in the colder months.
I would suggest this product is most suitable for those with normal to greasy hair types and for those who use a lot of products between washes. Furthermore, I think the success of the product also relies on your ability to be able to manage your hair style with some professional knowledge. I'm certain that with a combination of after-conditioner styling products applied in the correct way my hair would definately "achieve salon status". As it stands, I'm no expert and I find the conditioner to be passable but not brilliant.
Review also appears on Ciao!
When I purchased the Toni & Guy Daily Style Shampoo I, at the same time purchased the matching Toni & Guy Daily Style Conditioner. As you can see by alot of my reviews on shampoos and conditioners of late I have got disillusioned with all the claims that are made so I decided to go for something unfussy and simple. This product makes no massive claims so it appealed to me cos I'm sick of being pulled in by products lately and left wanting!
Toni & Guy Daily Style Conditioner, gentle conditioning for pre-styling.
250ml red plastic recyclable bottle (as on the top of this review) with a white frosted push on lid. As is with the matching shampoo its a pump action bottle. Large white writing telling me who this product is by and what it is. On the back of the bottle it tells me to 'Achieve salon status style with the right products and tools from Toni & Guy', gives me the directions for use, lists the ingredients and gives me contact details for Toni & Guy.
Directions for use....
After using Toni & Guy Daily Style Shampoo, smooth on wet , comb through. Leave for 2 minutes. Rinse.
A really nice everyday conditioner. I use it in conjunction with the the matching shampoo. The smell of the conditioner is a bit more fragrant than the shampoo although still not an in your face, knock your socks off overpowering smell. It smells to me of light fruit oils. Very fresh and none distinctive.
Unlike the shampoo this product when pumped does shoot out so I find that I need only one or two pumps for my shoulder length hair. The consistency of this is like a silky lotion. It Isn't so runny that you put it on your hands and it runs everywhere but neither is it a stiff heavy cream. It goes onto hair easily and hair drinks it in. Just putting it on to hair feels really nice!
I always leave it on my hair for between 2 and 10 minutes. 2 Minutes works just as well as any longer length of time so no need to try leaving it on your head for better results! When I dry my hair it feels very smooth and it combs through easily.
Not massive in your face results. This is a simple every day conditioner that's only claim is to be a base for pre-styling. However I find it softens my hair beautifully but at the same time not too much. I don't get flyaways so much with this though I don't claim it completely gets rid of them. It does help with frizz and hair doesn't have dry patches it's just very hydrated. I do get a lovely shine but again nothing fake or extraordinary. I find its perfect for every day and I use it in conjunction to my hair care regime and at the moment am actually using the Toni & Guy hair care range. To me the range is perfect for every day usage and I'm not getting any kind of build up which I like!
Suitable for any hair type, any age and male and females a like!
