“ Brand: Toni & Guy / Type: Conditioning Treatment „
On the run up Christmas I did a lot of shopping in Boots for other people. I have alot of girlfriends and had no idea what to buy them so I went with smellies in the main as I found it easier!
Whilst in store I knew that I was running out of hair products so picked up a few bits and bobs for myself. In the Christmas spirit I decided to treat myself to a few Toni & Guy products as I really usually like those and fancied a change from my usual cheap hair products!
The bottle that this comes in does look really nice and is rather unisex but still classy looking. The bottle is an off white colour and made of plastic and you cant see through the bottle and it opens via pushing the top to reveal a raised hole. On the front of the bottle in white, green and black writing we are told that it is 'Nourish' Toni&Guy 'London Salon Est 1963', Conditioner For Normal Hair 'Everyday Softness' and that is is 250ml, 8.5US Fl.Oz in size and then on the back of the bottle other information given includes being told a bit about the product and how to use it, the ingredients used within it are clearly stated, we are told that from once opened to use it up within 12 months and contact details for the manufacturer are also given. Like I say this is a really nice looking bottle as well as being informative too.
The conditioner itself is white in colour and smooth in texture and of course all you do is thoroughly wash your hair first and apply a small dollop of this through your damp hair (not dripping wet) and then leave it on for as long as you want to before rinsing it out. Whilst using it, it feels moisturising and a little of it really does go a very long way indeed and the scent of this in use is simply lovely and it smells to me gently floral and naturally sweet so feminine...well I think it this!
Not only is this easy to use it rinses out brilliantly too and this leaves my hair feeling nicely soft and it looks silky after using it. It doesn't seem to really tame my frizz or anything but this promises to nourish my hair in an every day sort of way and it does!
I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase this again in the future for the price the bottle cost me but that's only because I don't feel that it is all that special and that the scent of the conditioner doesn't linger on my hair for as long as I'd like but it does soften my hair and make it easy to get my comb through once used and like I have mentioned already my hair does looks and feel silky after using it well enough....I just wish it would help my frizz do one!
I paid £5.99 for my bottle in Boots and at the moment it is also within some Toni & Guy gift sets.

As someone who is constantly changing conditioners and trying new products, it seemed strange to me that I hadn't really tried much from Toni & Guy. My hair is pretty dry and has plenty of split ends so I always look out for something that can help even a little bit. The Toni & Guy Nourish Conditioner for Dry Hair instantly stood out to me in Boots as something that could help my dry hair.
For a 250ml bottle of this product, it will cost around £5.99 from Boots.
The conditioner comes in a tall, quite thin bottle that is really sleek and stylish. The bottle has the Toni & Guy logo on the front printed in black lettering while the name of the conditioner is printed in white. The description of the product is printed in a bright blue colour which certainly stands out against the other colourings of the packaging. Unfortunately though, the conditioner isn't exactly easy to get out of the bottle and if this could be fixed, the bottle would be much better.
Another disappointing aspect of this conditioner is the scent. Even before I put this on my hair, I had a quick smell into the bottle as I like a conditioner that will leave my hair smelling nice. This one doesn't really have a scent to it at all which I was surprised about. Most conditioners tend to have some kind of scent to them so I'm not sure why this one doesn't.
So after shampooing my hair as normal, not with a Toni & Guy product, I applied a generous amount of this conditioner to my hair without putting any on the roots. I find that putting conditioner on my roots weighs it down and doesn't really help the condition apart from making it look heavy and greasy. After applying the thick, white conditioner to the length of my hair, I left it on for a couple of minutes as directed before rinsing it out. After doing this, I can't say that I noticed much difference in my hair but the real test comes after hair is dried.
I always blow dry my hair (which is the reason it is so dry) and I did find that when brushing my hair through, it was much easier than normal. When my hair was completely dry, it did feel a bit nicer than it would with some other conditioners I have used in the past. However, it didn't feel much more moisturised. The results of this conditioner are pretty average, especially considering what I paid for it. The conditioner doesn't make my hair look or feel any better than those costing around half the price.
If I found this on offer, I might buy it again but I certainly wouldn't pay full price.
