After reading a really good review on Dooyoo regarding this product my curiosity was piqued enough to go out and buy a sample of this 'Toni&Guy Texture Paste' from my local Boots.

I had seen these little silver metal round tubs on offer for almost half price at £1 instead of the usual £1.95 for the 25ml mini travel size.

There is also a 75 ml size available for £5.95 with a special selected offer on at the moment on ww.boots.com for 3 for £10 - Bargain Time, folks!

The reason I decided to review this hair care texture paste was because I have been using this little gem for several weeks now and I think it's fantastic!

Scanning the bit of blurb on the front of the pot says 'for a semi-matte textured effect' but I don't use it for ruffling my hair up, quite the opposite actually as I use to for smoothing my locks into regimented place when they are scraped back into a pony tail...

Now pretty much everyone know the famous Toni& Guy hairdressing name, but they have really come into their own by introducing a whole range of shampoos, conditioners and even these ideally sized dinky travel-sized accessories too.

Manufactured in England, this sticky solution is quite fragranced on opening the screw topped lid, pleasantly so I might add.
There is definitely a floral tang to it, although the ingredients aren't listed either on the product or on the Boots website.
White in appearance, almost sold in consistency this is stick stuff indeed that does not completely set on usage as it is designed to be re-workable for restyling your hair at will.

I can only describe it as extremely tacky like a Pritt Stick with the strong strength to stick your mane where you choose without your hair looking like it's been pasted into place!
The only thing I would change about this great formula is I would prefer to have a shiny effect on my own tresses, but I guess that's personal choice really.

To use it is very, very simple, just get a little (and I mean a little until you have learnt how much you require per session), and apply it to dry hair and then go for it!

The texture paste is so thick though it does almost seem to set immediately so you have to work fast to achieve the look you want. You can re-mould it but it's not pleasant to handle either on your skin (although it does wash off easy), or on your now coated strands of slightly sleek locks.

As I said earlier I use this stuff to practically 'glue' my style in place and believe me that style is set for the day if I don't disturb it!

Toni&Guy have created a powerful product her which is a real aid if you are looking to create a look that you want to stay on place - any errant hairs can be smoothed down and will not move afterwards.

The only down side is the feel of it is you hair feels heavier, plus this solution does not budge until washed off on your next shampooing fest...

To be fair I think this warrants 5 sleek Dooyoo stars.

It is the best paste product to date I have found to help me keep my style in place - so much so that I went out and bought another one immediately!

I can thoroughly recommend this for anyone with fine flyaway hair like mine, or for those of you who are looking for maximum hold and don't mind the stickiness...

Summary: I KNOW IT'S NOT IN A BOX BUT THE TITLE FLOWED BETTER!
