I had recently a haircut at Toni and Guy in Covent Garden and I wish to share my experience with you not only because I have been totally disappointed and angry about the result but to help you dispel some MYTHS about this well advertised coiffure.
1.The reception lady was arrogant and impolite not only to me but to other customers.
2.The hairdresser paid little if any attention to my needs.I asked a catalogue to make a certain decision and he made no suggestions at all even when I asked him to. I wonder if his suggestions would cost a fortune to be made...Should I pay extra?
3.When he started cutting my hair he created something completely different than the anticipated. I asked him to bring the catalogue again to remind him the haircut I wanted.
4.The final "creation" was an absolutely OLD-FASHIONED haircut that I could have in any low paid hair saloon.
5. I paid 54 pounds for an impolite reception, a haste hair wash, an old-fashioned haircut, and my full dissapointment of the myth...
I would not recommend to anybody to spend so much money to a company based on great advertising but rotten from within.
