Well...what can i say I went in to Toni and Guy and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I first went in to Toni and Guy in Woking for a hir cut with a stylist. When i first went in it looked busy and i thought it was going to be a nightmare but i walked up to reception and got served right away and a lady in there washed my hair and i found it very relaxing actually! She was chatting away to me and as i am so shy it made me feel at home.She took me to a chair and i only had to wait about 2 mins until the stylist came and he even apoligised to me for making me wait.As i was had worked in a salon before i knew what i wanted and he cut it so well I loved it!!!I thought for the cut that i got the price was good as i have been in some salons that cost alot more some even double! I liked it there so much i went in a few weeks later and asked for a job and to do my training.I got an interview and trail day and got the job! I love it there!
I have read your review baby girl about Toni and Guy and thats your opinion and you should be able to share it but if you dont want people making remarks then dont use the words that you used to descride some of the people as "b*tches" as it is very rude so you really should expect people calling you rude names if you are going to descibe people like that!If you are willing to let a trainee cut your hair you should expect them to do the cut that they need to pass!Your friend Sarah should speak up and tell the hairdresser what she wanted and as this could happen at any salon!Its good that you express your opinion but not it the manner you did.
Training
The training is not like other salons as in Toni and Guy you have to do the NVQ2 and the Toni and Guy Diploma. It is averaged at 3 years training at Toni and Guy but in other salons it is olny the NVQ 2 which is averaged at 2 years.
A lot of people have said that Toni and Guys prices are high but that is due to the training process we have to go through!
This is my opinion and i hope that you accept it!
Summary: I think that people should give Toni and Guy a try and see if they like it!!

You know what... I wrote that review years ago when I was a sullen teenager with nothing better to do, if you Toni and Guy employee's masked as customers really think they're all that, go and get your fucking haircut from them and stop writing essays on this page to highlight your frustration at a teenage girl voicing her opinion, I had a bad experience, I was pissed off, I had another bad experience, I was even more pissed, GET OVER IT. If my stupid little opinion means nothing, why are you pathetic tossers getting so worked up over it? Seriously man, there's something called the outside world, embrace it. |

- 19/06/06 Hiya, Welcome to Dooyoo. Sorry for the rating but you have pieced several pieces together and in the wrong places. Please don't place comments like you have done into reviews - e.g. you said 'I have read your review' but who's review are you talking about? There are 47 reviews on this subject. As you can see there is a comments area for each review so if you feel the need please place the comment on the appropriate review.... but remember these are people's opinions and each are entitled to their own opinion.
This review is not about working in Toni and Guy and if you'd like this can be moved to the careers section. Please let me know whether you wish to write about the salon and your experiences of using it as a customer or working there as these are two different subjects.

If not, you will need to edit anyway and focus on your experiences as a customer - you mentioned the were better value for money than other salons but didn't mention any prices.
