I look like John Denver....and I'm TICKED!!! (Toni & Guy)

Disadvantages: They have completely ruined my hair.

I have been completely screwed by Toni and Guy. I have thick, naturally wavy (messy) hair that I have to straighten every day, and even then, it's still big. I asked the stylist to trim the ends, cut it at a slant (shorter in back, longer in front) and thin out the bottom layer. My hair was barely below my shoulders. He cut about 4 inches off (did I mention I look HORRIBLE with short hair??) and put about 20 different layers in my hair. I now look like I have bangs that go all the way around my head. He also left it about two inches longer on one side than the other, and gave me a bob, when I SPECIFICALLY said DO NOT GIVE ME A BOB. He ALSO took a big chunk out of the back of my hair, which was QUITE noticeable.
Here's the sad part. When I first sat down, and he started cutting, he started telling me about his last customer, who completely threw a fit because she wasn't happy with her haircut. He made it sound like he cut it exactly how she asked him to, but I now I realize that was a huge red flag that I completely ignored. I actually felt sorry for him. Sheesh! THEN, he asked me if I had seen any good movies lately. I told him what I'd seen....we had like a 15 minute conversation about recently seen movies. Then 10 minutes after that - literally 10 minutes - he repeated the same question "So...have you seen any good movies lately?" And he was DEAD SERIOUS. At that point, I realized that he must be on drugs....which T&G are notorious for....I have had 2 friends work for T&G who have left because they were "outcasts" and treated like crap because they didn't join in all of the wild, wreckless partying. I DIDN'T realize, though, that they did it AT work. But now, I'm convinced that they do.
DO NOT GO TO TONI & GUY. I look like John Denver and I am NOT happy. I've tried everything to make this look better, but to no avail. Even went out and bought 9 different kinds of product, but none make it look good. Oh, I forgot to mention, I had gorgeous hair before. Felt just like silk. Now, because of the excessive "texturizing" he did, my hair looks and feels like straw. It is going to take at least a year to do damage control on this sorry excuse for a haircut.
BE WISE - take it from me (and many others) - DO NOT GO THERE. EVER!!!
