Hairdressing model cuts highly recommended (Toni & Guy)

I've been going to Toni & Guy in central London as a hairdressing model at least a couple of times a year for around 12 years. I've found their haircuts to be better than any I've had anywhere else and are a bargain at £5 (or free with the vouchers in Ms London or GAT).

Years ago I had problems a couple of times with being turned away because they were overbooked and already had all the models they needed, but have found the solution is to arrive around 15 mins earlier than the advertised times.

They have always cut my hair just the way I've requested. I've had my hair coloured there 3 times too and was happy with this as well, though you need to go for a patch test at least a few days beforehand and can't have a cut & colour at the same appointment.

Provided you are happy to spend around 3-4 hours there per appointment, it is a great place to have your hair cut. They have always been happy for me to read a magazine while I'm there as long as I keep my head in position! The trainees are friendly and chatty which makes the experience enjoyable. Their cuts are excellent because the teachers supervise them carefully and many have already worked as hairdressers for a few years. The biggest disadvantage is that appointments are only available Monday - Friday (and not Friday afternoons).

Summary: Great cuts, well supervised at a price which can't be beaten in London if you have 3-4 hours spare.
