Advantages: Juniors

Disadvantages: Stylists who think because they work for Toni and Guy they can do whatever they want

I have been to Toni and Guy several times in the past and have usually been satisfied with the cut I recieved...until now.
Thinking if I paid a bit extra I'd get a better cut and a better service with a bit more attention paid to what I actually asked for I naively chose the second most expensive stylist "top style director executive" whatever, it cost £49 anyhow.

I showed him a picture of the style I wanted (long and WAVY)-you can't really go wrong with a picture can you as it's right there in front of them-no ambiguity right? Wrong! He spent about 10 minutes cutting my hair then asked a junior to dry it straight explaining it was easier for him to finish off the cut once it was dry and straight. Fair enough, as long as it's like the picture once it's finished, I said. The junior, just following instructions proceeded to spend the best part of an hour blow drying it super straight. I said to her there's really no need to go mad as I want it to be finished off wavy. She explained to the stylist who told her to make it wavy with the good old GHDs. I said I didn't want to use GHDs i would like it scrunch dried AS IN THE PICTURE. So the stylist got the junior to wet it again at the backwash then scrunch dry it. He then came over to finish my fringe, which I explained I wanted heavy and full, and cut it wispy and thin-I had to pull him up on this again. It's still not how I wanted it but I was so exasperated and fed up, my bum was also aching after 2 hours in the chair, that I quickly paid and left, furious that I'd been made to fork out 50 quid for what was essentially a rubbish fringe and a blow dry by the junior. If I wanted a bog standard haircut I'd have gone to my local hairdresser and paid her £20.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY COMING HERE!

Summary: TOTAL waste of money
