A bloke in Tony and Guy? Should it happen? £24 later???????

I have just had my barnet cut in T&G having discussed the pro's and con's with my mates. We had a whip around - drew lots and as I lost I had to face the music/barber/stylist/technican. We had decided that as good money was being spent a "trendy" design was required so we chose one of the five design shown in the window and in I went.

I am now the owner of a modern, ruffled, scruffy, spikey syrup which matches the picture exactly but what do I and other think.

*Mates - hilarious
*Missus - undecided but not ashamed
*Missus friend - impressed - now we are cooking
*Randomly selected public - split

I have grown quite attached to my head of hair having got used to the barbed workmates comments and have actually received some compliments from people I have never met before.

Is this all worth £24 to a bloke? I used to pay £5 at my works barber and regardless of what you asked for the same cut arrived. It was not the place to be adventurous whereas with T&G you can ask for what you like and go for a change - this is the key point - in T&G if you don't ask for something offbeat/trendy then you are the odd one out.

If you want a change and a modern image and can stand the comments plus have money to burn go for it - otherwise stick to the mullet.

Summary:
