I have just read the snotty cows review with shock and disbelief. I have using Toni & Guy Putney for a year now and have always been impressed the the fantastic, consistant service that I've received from every staff member on every visit. My friends also frequent this salon and have had nothing but positive experiences. I completely disagree with this review and urge potential clients to disregard it.

Just got back from having my hair chopped off at Toni and Guys salon. I usually only go to Toni and Guys when they have Stand in appointments available as that way you get a bargain but they don't seem to do them often. If my hair is longer as it was prior to today I would go to heart of england for a trim as its only £5.50 they ... Read the complete review

I have been going to the Canary Wharf branch of Toni & Guy for the last few years and have been to Sophie, Timoko and Massimo - all of whom have given me excellent haircuts (and I am quite picky... ). I have never had an issue with customer service or with the quality, my only comment might be that it is pretty expensive, more so than the other branches of Toni & Guy.

Toni and guy is awful! I hear nothing but bad things! And i was so upset with my cut from the salon in crawley west sussex!
The girl was so unfriendly, even when i asked her so nicely to cut more of one side because it was so much longer then the other she just looked at me and never spoke a word!
AWFULL hairdressers seem to work at toni&guy! Dont go!

Never go to toni and guy in stockton heath the salon was dirty inside. As i went in i was told to take a seat , i had booked in with the manager because i wanted the best service. After waiting for over half an hour with no explanation i asked how long he would be then finally he came, i was happy with the consultation because i only wanted a trim. I had my hair washed which was nice but the towels they used were all stained and smelly. I had my hair cut the manager who looked very scruffy and he smelled of smoke and alcohol. My hair looked very frizzy after having it blow dried by a trainee after paying £50 i expected a much better service and to at least have my hair dried by a qualified stylist.

I have light blonde hair and was shocked when I was asked to put my head back in a basin covered in black hair dye. I said to the shampooist that I didn't want to have my hair covered in black dye, as the dye was all over the headrest so there was no way of avoiding it, and she treated me as if I was stupid and said it wouldn't go in my hair. I qualified as a hairdresser so I should know. She did wipe it off while tutting after I mentioned it, but the headrest was made of some kind of material that didn't look as if it could be all cleaned off properly.
I was shocked that a salon that's supposed to be good could have such low standards and that wouldn't even happen in many cheap salons.

I'm quite surprised about the reviews as I've never had bad service or a really bad haircut and everyone was friendly. the first time I got my haircut it was quite long and I wanted a drastic change going short. they advised me to opt for a bob first to get used to having shorter hair. It was with a trainee but the senior stylist watched over the ... Read the complete review

I am due for a haircut soon, and it has made me think of Toni and Guy's. I'm, not sure if I'll be going to them this time, for around £40 a snip, it's not really something I like to be spending on just for a trim. I have basic straight long dark hair, so really, unless I'm going to change it or have something special done I think it's ... Read the complete review

I totally agree - given their exhorbitant prices (I paid around 50-60GBP for the master sylist), I expected something other than the avg haircut that I get for GBP17 elsewhere.

Toni and Guy Bolton have been a trusted friend over a number of years now. I felt the need to provide a response to this fashion for 'blog bashing' companies. Miss Princess, along with others, speaks of a single experience. Did any of you actually express your concerns, or did you expect the stylists to be clairvoyant? I too have been ... I have just read the review (snotty cows) and think it is shocking how someone could be so slanderous! Both my aunt and I have been coming to this branch for several years and have never EVER found the staff rude or snotty- we always have fun catching up with the staff who always have plenty conversation. The service you receive at this salon is of the highest standard and I would strongly recommend this salon to friends and family- the salon has a very friendly atmosphere. I am a loyal customer who honestly finds the original review hurtful towards such a wonderful team who always seem so pleased to greet me. In my opinion you wont find a nicer salon for miles around and would be foolish to miss out on such a special service!

I have been to Toni and Guy several times in the past and have usually been satisfied with the cut I recieved...until now. Thinking if I paid a bit extra I'd get a better cut and a better service with a bit more attention paid to what I actually asked for I naively chose the second most expensive stylist "top style director ... I had my hair cut at Toni & Guy in Bolton today and I am not impressed at all. I had an appointment booked at a different salon in Manchester City centre but I thought whilst I was in Bolton I'd get my hair done then and there. I telephoned to make an appointment and I asked for an appointment with a stylist, I was ... Read the complete review

I've been going to Toni & Guy in central London as a hairdressing model at least a couple of times a year for around 12 years. I've found their haircuts to be better than any I've had anywhere else and are a bargain at £5 (or free with the vouchers in Ms London or GAT). Years ago I had problems a couple of times with being turned ... Read the complete review

After the experience I had in the Liverpool Street branch of Toni & Guy I would never ever ever use the whole franchise again. Very unprofessional, unhelpful and very unfriendly. They seem to think they are doing you a great favour, even though they charge extortionate prices. The so called manager was the most rude, of all the staff although they were not any better.

my son went to toni and guy in gloucester as he has very curly hair and wanted it straighted. They suggested having it relax with cemicals, the change was fantastic and cost about 35 which was not bad and it lasted about 3 months before it started to curl again. I went my self as I'm trying to change my hair style I found them reasonable but it ... Read the complete review

Tony & Guy Limassol - A Cut Above the Rest!!
I have recently moved to cyprus and after many years of having the same hair style I felt like something a little different. Along I went to Maximus Plaza in Limassol and booked an appointment with the Art Director... He not only gave me a new look but one that suited my personality - now thats what i called a service. A big thank you to all the team at Tony & Guy Limassol for your first class service. I not only leave the salon with a great new style big a smile to match!

I have just come back from Toni and guy. They kept me waiting nearly an hour. Once I got my hair washed I sat there waiting again with wet hair. The hairdresser didn't even do the simple instruction I gave ie shape around my face. The experience cost me £40! I Will never go again .

Toni and Guy Nottingham: Unfriendly - quite rude infact (not a good experience at all apart from the guy who cut my hair who was friendly) always noisy, cold coffee, tatty mags, feels horrible waiting on the freaky seat in the window, in and out before you know it and all for a whopping £30+ just for a cut. Never again.
