I bought this Tresemme 24 hour body scuplting spray gel from my local chemist and paid £3.49. It comes in a 200ml plastic bottle which is black with a bright pink spray trigger at the top. As the bottle is black you can’t see how much product is left in the bottle but you can tell this from shaking it as the liquid moves around in the bottle. You don't have to use much pressure for the spray to come out so it is easy to hold with one hand to spray whilst holding your hair with the other hand.
I would describe as a fresh slightly perfumed smell but it isn’t too strong at all and you lose the smell as soon as it has dried in your hair. To use this gel I will hold small sections of my hair up and then spray the gel underneath making sure that I am getting right down to the roots. It all depends on exactly how I want my hair to look but for example if I am going out and want a bit more volume I will go over it again and also give it a spray all over afterwards. I will mould it into shape with my fingers and will either leave it to set or give it a quick blow dry which makes it last even longer.
As soon as the gel starts to dry I can feel volume to my hair which wasn’t there before and it feels textured without being sticky or too stiff, and it also looks much fuller as I have sprayed it right down at the roots. I find that it gives me the confidence that my hair will stay looking fuller and thicker for most of the day.
This is really quite a strong gel spray and I would think that you could use it for almost every style including the most extreme styles. I find that a spray is much better than having to stick my fingers into a pot of something sticky and I am not left with any stickiness or residue on my hands. I don’t wash my hair every day and although it doesn’t look as neat and tidy the day after I have used this spray it still looks okay.
A highly recommended spray which keeps my hair in place all day.
3 for 2 offers always seem to make me try something new. My mother was out shopping and instead of getting 3rd bottle of the hairspray I used, she bought this Tresemme 24 hour body volumising sculpting spray gel. I had no idea what to make of it. To be fair I had no idea what to do with it.
This product is contained within a plastic container and uses an 'easy spray' nozzle which looked more like a shower cleaner to me. It claims to give 24 hour volume and bounce. It also tells you to use this along with the several other products on Tresemme's latest line which ultimately you are suggested to buy for the full effect. I don't have the shampoo or the conditioner so I do not know what the combination is like.

Despite being supposedly easy to spray, I found it more difficult and uncontrolled than your typical spray. It is a watery substance that you seem to need to push down fully on the lever to make it come out which also possibly uses more than you'd want to. You are suggested to use on 'slightly damp' hair. I assume it means mid-way through blow drying It is said to spray a generous amount into your hair and comb to distribute evenly. You are supposed to style your hair while blow drying which to me just seems bizarre. You can't possibly style your hair with air blasting against it. In any case I didn't notice any real change. My hair felt very slightly hard in areas where a lot of it had been and didn't seem to get any more volume than I would without it. It made my hair look dull and slightly frizzy. Maybe this is more for those with really long hair and only want to style it slightly. Luckily it doesn't leave any residue in your hair which I find to be one of the only benefits of this product. It is extremely easily washed or combed out which is great if you find that the product isn't for you and want to get it off your hair as soon as possible.
So far I've only ever used this when I'm not styling my hair, just to hopefully blow dry it into a reasonable position, but even then it has little to no effect for me and I regret having it. This might work better for those with thinner hair, but for those with hair rather thick then it is probably best to turn away now. There isn't much I can say about this product due to my poor experience with it and I do not recommend it. I'd like to hear any contrasting views on this product in the comments.
