Normally, I opt for the cheapest, store's own brand shampoos and conditioners, but on this occasion I bought the Tresemme shampoo as it was on offer. Wow, what a difference! The shampoo is thick and luxurious and lathers easily on my hair, and my hair seems to stay clean for at least a day longer. That, in addition to the fact that I only need to use about half as much in each wash means that Tresemme actually works out cheaper than the bargain brands. The packaging is great: stylish, well-balanced so that it doesn't fall over, and with a snap-top lid that does not leak. The bottle size is excellent as it is large enough to last a long time, but small enough to fit on my bathroom shelves. The fragrance is pretty nondescript, slightly chemical but not unpleasant. I believe that the product does boost body, as it keeps the hair fresher and cleaner for longer. It also seems to be a lighter formulation than other shampoos, and rinses easily and quickly out of the hair. Used in conjunction with the matching Tresemme conditioner, this is now my favourite shampoo.
I have been using this shampoo with the conditioner for 5 weeks now, I bought it in Superdrug in the £4 pound value pack. For value I have to say its well worth it I got my 500ml bottle 5 weeks ago and its still not empty yet, I wash my hair 3-4 times a week. I feel the shampoo is named well as 24 hour body is exactly what it is, I dry my hair most times with a hair dryer and this gives my a good amount of volume at the roots, my hair is naturally quite flat most of the time it get flatter by the hour to be honest. I do find if I let my hair dry naturally after using this product, My hair is has a lot of volume and is very bouncy. Only thing I wish it was capable of as well is to make my hair silky which I don't feel this does unlike other Tresemme lines I have tried.
I usually wash my hair once a day so you can imagine how much shampoo (and conditioner) I go go through in a year but I have never been loyal to any particular brand but rely on those which are on offer at the time. A couple of weeks ago I realised that my shampoo stash was almost depleted when I suddenly remembered my friend had given me a bottle of this Tresemme 24 hour Body Shampoo that I'd had to store in my kitchen cupboard as it was too large for my bathroom cabinet! I got this for free but apparently these huge 900ml bottles retail at only around £4 which has to be good value. The only problem with using a bottle of this size is that, if you have small hands like me, you may need 2 hands to hold it and on a more serious note this may be a greater problem for anyone with dexterity problems - it may have to be decanted into a smaller bottle. My bottle looks ever so slightly than that pictured by Dooyoo as it has a pink top and an extra logo on the front although it is the same product. The top has a click top lid which opens easily and snaps firmly shut after use which is fine because the shampoo is easy to dispense and there is no spillage. Tresemme advise that you wet the hair then coat the shampoo thickly then squeeze each strand from root to tip to ensure there is no tangling and the shampoo works at its best, then rinse and use their conditioner. Blow that! I just use it as I would any other shampoo - lathering it into my hair then rinsing and using any old conditioner that I have handy! The results are good I have to say plus my hair smells nice for a good hour or so afterwards. I would recommend this for both sexes as the smell, although slightly floral, does not last very long and I would not say it was a particularly feminine fragrance. This shampoo rinsed out easily and it was easy enough to use either a brush or comb when my hair was wet because it was tangle-free. When dry my fair seemed to have a little more body, was shiny and did not feel heavy or coated which may be due to the collagen and silk protein that Tresemme state is in the formula. On the reverse of this huge bottle you will find that almost one third of the space is taken up with a long, long list of ingredients which I have not read ( as I probably would not understand and am at an age when I no longer care what I put on my hair) but I do appreciate that these are important to many people and would advise they take a good look before purchasing for peace of mind? On the whole I am very satisfied with this shampoo as it does the job. I can only award 4 stars though because the size of the bottle may pose a problem for some users.
I first bought this because it was on offer, and I'd run out of Shampoo. I didn't buy it for the promise of 'builds body and volume' on the front of the bottle, but simply because I needed Shampoo, and this was 2 bottles for £5 in Superdrug at the time, so I could get the Conditioner too. HOW DOES IT ADD VOLUME? The Shampoo contains a 'unique volume control complex' and Silk Protein, which helps stop your hair from falling flat. It also contains collagen, which seems to be all the rage in beauty products lately, since it can help give you a boost. MY VERDICT I've been using this Shampoo for a little while now, but it's not my favourite. My favourite Shampoo is far too expensive to buy all the time, so I get this one to use most of the time. The lid of the bottle is very easy to use, which is a plus side for me. You don't have to dig your nails into the lid to get it open; I've ruined my nail varnish so many times doing this, you simply push down a button on the back of the lid. The opening is fairly small, so you can get just enough of the product out, without it all spilling out. The product smells like most Tresemme Products, which is a fruity scent, but it's not overpowering. After I've washed this out, I use the Tresemme 24 Hour Body Conditioner. After drying my hair, and straightening it, my hair does often look flat, and this Shampoo has boosted my hair. After I've used this, my hair feels bouncy, and looks thicker. I have fairly thick hair anyway, but giving it a boost with all of the styling is definitely welcome. I'd definitely say that my hair looks and feels boosted for 24 hours, depending on the weather. On a cool, dry day, the effect definitely lasts all day, but on humid and wet days, my hair is still reduced to a frizzy, flat mess. DISADVANTAGES I suppose that the price of this product, when it is full price, could be considered a disadvantage. It usually sells for £5 a bottle, so if you want to buy the Conditioner too, this could be a bit pricey. However, the bottle is large, and it lasts a long time, so the price can be overlooked. Once the bottle is less than half fall, it starts to collapse on itself, making it difficult to get the last of the Shampoo out. I find this quite annoying, standing in a cubicle shower, shaking the bottle until it comes out. It's probably due to the size of the bottle, and maybe unscrewing the lid to let some air in could help solve the problem. PRICE/BOTTLE SIZE Superdrug currently have this on offer for £2.45, which is less than half price, and for a 750ml bottle, this is a bargain. The Conditioner is also on offer for £2.45, so for less than £5 you could get both from Superdrug. Boots are currently a 500ml bottle of this for £4.39, so Superdrug definitely has the best deal right now. OVERALL Overall, I think that the price for this large bottle Shampoo is incredibly value, and even when it's not on offer, I would be willing to pay the £5 per bottle. It leaves my hair feeling clean, and boosted with extra volume, and I will buy this again.
My hair is frizzy and out of control but sometimes I find that by the time I have blow dried my hair, it can look a little flat and lifeless. I do sometimes backcomb the roots and use some volumising powder but I thought I'd give the Tresemme 24 hour body Shampoo and Conditioner a whirl. This is a review of the shampoo. What does the product do? Obviously as this product is a shampoo, it's primary function is to cleanse the hair in order to remove grease, impurities and left over hair products. In addition is promises to give the hair a boost to leave it with plenty of body and looking gorgeous for a full 24 hours. It is gentle enough to be used daily and it has collagen to strengthen the hair. It has a lightweight formula which won't strip your hairs of its natural oils and the product contains Silk Proteins which leave the hair soft and shiny without weighing it down. Packaging and Price The product comes contained within a black plastic bottle which is plain other than a pink band and some white writing which tells you more about the product. It doesn't have a lid and you push down on one side of the top of the bottle to make the other side flip open. You then squeeze the bottle to dispense the shampoo. The product will cost you around £4 for 500ml of the shampoo which will last you a long time or a smaller bottle is available. Application and Performance The product has the aroma that you would expect from a Tresemme product. It doesn't smell of anything in particular but it does smell really fresh and clean. It isn't strong enough to make anyone dislike the product and it smells a little bit like freshly cleaned washing to me. It has the consistency that you would expect from a shampoo too and it is mostly clear in colour other than a slight tinge. It works its way into the hair well, without causing any irritations or discomfort and it lathers really well so you get super bubbly! It makes it feel like its doing a good job of cleansing the hair. The product is easily rinsed out of the hair. My hair feels hydrated straight away so I knew it wasn't going to make my locks even frizzier that it naturally is. My hair was easy to brush through and it didn't cause any tangles. Once my hair was dry, I did notice that my hair had more volume, especially at the roots. It wasn't a massive difference but I noticed that my hair has more body than with other shampoos. It feels really soft and healthy, although the shampoo didn't add much shine to my hair. It smelt fresh and clean, and it felt cleansed. It removed all signs of grease and hair product from my locks and it stayed clean for two days. The volume also stayed the whole time. Conclusion All in all, this is a good shampoo which cleanses the hair well and leaves it feeling soft and smelling fresh. The shampoo does add a bit of volume to the hair, particularly in the roots. It's not enough to make your hair completely different but it improves it a little and it keeps my hair clean for 48 hours. I would recommend this product, especially if you find it on offer.
I am always on the lookout for hair products that can help to volumise my hair, and when I saw this Tresemme 24 Hour Body Shampoo I decided that I might as well give it a try to see if it made any impact whatsoever. I had used shampoo and conditioner products from the brand Tresemme before and they had yielded quite good (though not absolutely fantastic) results, so I was hoping that this would be one of the shampoos that would actually make my hair much more volumised. The brand is supposed to be of 'professional' quality, so I kind of had high expectations of it. Since I was about to go travelling, I decided to buy this shampoo from Boots in the mini 100ml travel size. Now, it is really travel sized, and it just looks like the normal shampoo bottle squashed down to mini sized; it looks quite cute, actually. However, this stops seeming so cute when you realised that tiny bottle of shampoo has just set you back over £1. Some good shampoo brands will give you a full sized bottle for less than that, so I did find that it was a little too pricey to be bought as an everyday shampoo; though, I decided that I wanted to try it and see if it was a shampoo worth buying since I was going on holiday. A 500ml bottle will cost you over £4, which is quite expensive, but then it is a large bottle. It is not the most expensive of shampoos, but it is certainly not too cheap. The shampoo is packaged inside quite an elegant black bottle with small dashes of purple on it. As I mentioned, it is quite a small bottle, so it is very easy to take around with you whilst you are travelling. It is not extremely lightweight, but it is in no way too heavy, so putting it in an overnight bag would be no hassle at all. The only part of the packaging that I have a slight problem with is the lid- it is a simple screw on and screw off cap with a large opening so that it is hard to tip just the right amount onto your hand. I would have preferred it if Tresemme had provided me with the kind of mechanism that I found on other of their haircare products that I have tried before; the type that flips open when you press down on the other side. It is easy to apply this shampoo, just as you would with any regular shampoo. It advises you to apply a 'generous' amount, even though it is a small bottle. The gel is a clear, quite thick gel (though it looks like it is a black gel at first since the interior of the bottle is black, like the exterior) that foams up when applied, and it washes off easily. It feels cool and relaxing when it is massaged into my scalp. The smell of the shampoo is quite nice but not absolutely fantastic. It smells quite fruity and refreshing; it does have that typical chemical shampoo smell to it. It makes my hair smell quite once I have finished washing it off. So does it increse the volume of my hair. I would say, yes, it does, by quite a bit, but not an exceptional amount. It definitely does not retain its volume for 24 hours, however; only a few hours I would say, and I do not like it when brands cannot keep to their promises so they would have been better off not mentioning a time. It also makes my hair feel quite smooth and silky, which is good; it feels soft and my hair is left feeling nice, clean and refreshed. Overall, I think this is quite a good shampoo, though I have to say that I could have got better results from a few cheaper shampoos. I do believe that this shampoo is a little bit too pricey for a shampoo, considering that you can buy good shampoos for so much cheaper nowadays. Also, I was a little bit disappointed that the volume did not last for the promised 24 hours. I do not think that this is a bad shampoo at all, but for the price you really can do better. I would give this product 3 out of 5 dooyoo stars.
My mum tends to buy any of the Tresemme selections due to the fact that they always seem to be on offer in our local Asda and they come in pretty giant bottles in my opinion. Tresemme has been gaining popularity recently, and it's well deserved, as I've found that all their brands of shampoo and conditioner have worked well for me and improved my hair when I use it. The shampoo I shall be reviewing is the 24 hour Body shampoo, with silk protein and collagen. You can buy the shampoos in smaller bottles to try them out and see which best suits your hair, which is what I did. However, now I've found the shampoo that suits me best, I only really buy it in the 900ml bottles. In Asda, you can buy them most of the time on special offer for 2 for £5 however by themselves, in stores such as Boots or Superdrug you will probably find them for £5 each. The bottle is really large with most of the packaging being black and the flippy top a pinkish colour. Pressing in the lid creates a gap in which you can squeeze out the shampoo, and this was handy as it stopped issues with leakage or pouring too much out. However, you cant unscrew the lid properly, which can be a problem if you want to rinse out the bottles and use every last inch of the shampoo. It is also able to be recycled. The only problem I really had was the fact that this bottle was just too large, it sometimes made it awkward to hold and squeeze out shampoo, and sometimes I would even have issues with dropping it on my foot in the shower. Some may also not like that it is not transparent, so there isn't really a clear indicator to when you need to replenish your shampoo stock. I have mid lengthish hair and I found that I only needed 2 small blobs of shampoo to make for an effective wash. It definitely gives my hair more body and volume if I bother to blow dry afterwards, however if I leave it to dry it just looks slightly volumised and as it would normally. It states that it gives all day body and volume without weighing it down, and this is definitely the case as my hair does tend to be pretty bouncy after I use this shampoo. There isn't really a smell to this product, as it just smells like any other neutral shampoo. It doesn't really make your hair smell any different after it's dry either and I got used to it pretty quickly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to those of you who want more volume and bounce within your hair as Tresemme definitely did this for me. This shampoo is pretty much the only one I use, and the fact it can be bought in bulk so cheaply is always a nice bonus because it lasted so long!
This is a review of the shampoo "24 hour body & volume shampoo" by TREsemme. A shampoo that is advertised as the 'choice of professionals' on TV but it is available to buy in the supermarket and places like Boots and Superdrug at reasonable prices. Price, size and availability I purchased my bottle a few months ago in Asda at the price of three bottles for £10 which I thought was a really good deal. It's a 900ml bottle which is absolutely huge and can be hard to get a hold of with slippery hands which I will go into later in this review. Packaging The large 900ml bottle is black with a raspberry coloured head. You press in the lid to great the gap in the lid and squeeze the bottle to get the shampoo out. The lid does not completely unscrew which can be annoying when you get to the dregs of the bottle as I like to rinse mine out on the last available wash. Other than that it is a smooth plastic bottle so it can go in the recycling bin. It can be hard to hold as it is so large and you need two hands which makes squeezing out a blob on to a hand awkward. Performance I used about two 50 pence piece sized blobs when washing my mid length to long hair. It easily foams up when you massage in to the scalp. As to the claim of body and volume, I think all that depends what you do after your shampoo. If you leave it to dry in a towel, you will get average looking natural hair but if you blow dry, straighten or curl afterwards you will get more professional results. I also used the matching conditioner with this product which overall gave pleasing results. Smell It is a fairly neutral smelling product, clean and soapy neither too strong or too weak. It is clear too which I like as you know it won't be doing anything bad to your hair! It didn't smell absolutely gorgeous, but I think you can get quickly used to smells anyway. Value for money I think this is a great value for money product with a feel that you are using something quite special due to the adverts. The size is a little awkward and a pump top lid would make this much more manageable. I would definitely rebuy this size if it had a pump top lid. I would consider decanting into another bottle with this type of dispenser too as I bought a similar sized cheap shampoo (99p) for my husband to use in the shower and that will eventually become available as a bottle. Final word I would repurchase this shampoo in the future but I think I would go for a smaller sized bottle despite the better price on bulk buying. I liked using this shampoo, it lasted for months and although it took up a lot of space on the bath corner next to the wall it was one of the things I used each time. I would say the clean hair lasted around two days with this shampoo (and the matching conditioner) but this will depend on your own hair type as each person will have different tolerances for clean hair and different products work better for different people. I would say give this a try if you haven't already but look out for special offers.
My other half likes to buy those gigantic bottles of Tresemme shampoo and conditioners. They come in bucket sized plastic bottle of about 500ml and she generally manages to get them on special offer in the local supermarket of either half price or buy one get one half price. I personally think the bottles are too big though I do like the shampoo. She also seems to buy different ones every time she goes out and we never have the same ones in the bathroom. The one I have been using lately is the 24 hour body one which comes in a large thick plastic bottle. I don't like the way I have to press down on the top of these bottle to get the stuff out and also when I am taking a shower and my hands are slippy with soap you can guarantee that I will drop the thing in the bottom of the shower and it will hit my foot, causing me to swear, and my wife runs upstairs asking me what the racket is and have I hurt myself. YES I HAVE!! You don't need much of this shampoo as it lathers well in my personal opinion. Like I say, I have nothing against the shampooo itself, it is just that the bottle are far too large and heavy. It rinses well and boy does it give my hair body. I cannot completely control my beard after I have used this stuff and it shoots out in all directions amking me look like I am wearing beard extensions. Nice shampoo but I think might be better if you are more follicly challendged than I am as I just look a bit mad the day after I have used this .
Not really one to be loyal to any paticular shampoo brand, I tend to shop around and end up buying one that's on offer. I saw these in Asda the other week, two 500ml bottles for £5 and they're about £4.30 each so I thought this was a good bargain. I've used Tresemme products in the past and been impressed and you do get a lot of shampoo for your money too. I bought a bottle of shampoo and the matching conditioner with it. The bottle is fairly plain, it has the Tresemme logo on and then what the shampoo is meant to do, i.e. adding body to your hair. The shampoo's are normally black and the conditioner's white which helps you to tell the difference easily and stop you from buying two shampoos or conditioners, which I've done in the past! The lid is easy to use, you press the one side down to open it and the other side pops up, so there's no fiddly screw lids. The only thing I found difficult with the bottle is the size, because it's quite a chunky bottle it can be hard to hold, as I don't have very big hands and the bottle was wet in the shower. I used a walnut sized amount and rub it vigorously through wet hair then rinse off. I wash mine twice as advised by my hairdresser then followed with the conditioner. The shampoo has a really nice fragrance, I can't quite descrbie it, but it smells good. It's a good, thick consistency so it doesn't just run through your fingers and you don't have to use loads of it. When I was drying my hair, it felt quite soft and clean and I could still smell the shampoo. Once it was dry, I couldn't really tell that I had used a body-inducing shampoo. It didn't seem any more volupuous or full than normal. It was, however lovely and soft. My hair felt really clean and smooth and still had a tinge of the nice-smelling shampoo too. I've continued using the shampoo and conditioner, and although it doesn't make any difference to my hair's 'body', it always leaves my hair feeling so soft, it's lovely. I've still got loads of shampoo left, so it does last really well. Overall, I think if you're looking for a shampoo to add body to your hair, this isn't the product for you, but if you're looking for a good shampoo, then this is perfect. It works for what I need it for to be honest, so I can't complain.
Now I know this review may seem a little out of sorts for me ! a beauty / cleanser product, but id thought id give this new category a try. Admitantly I cant write much about the boost factor of this product as I dont have long hair, but from what I can tell and from my mrs has told me it seems to be of average effectiveness, in that we have both used other shampoo and conditioner BOOST products like Pantene and I certainly havent noticed too much difference in my mrs hair and mine. But we`ve been buying Tresemme for a few years and I do like to try out different shampoos especially if they are on special offer. That is pricinpally the reason why I have bought Tresemme all this time. I shop in Sainsburys and Tresemme shampoo and conditioner is on offer about 50% of the time. Normally you can get three 900 ml bottles of the 'standard' Tresemme for £10-£12 or two 900 ml bottles of 'specialised' Tresemme such as Boost control or naturals etc for around £10. Tresmme`s motto is salon product at non salon prices and they certainly live by that credo. By my working Tresemme trully represents the best value for money shampoo and conditioner you can get, most others will only give you around 500ml for the £4 singular price Like all shampoos there are many different variations of Tresemme catering for all different types of hair. The shampoo and conditioner bottles look very professional anyway, if a little heavy. The conditioners are normally encased in white plastic and the shampoos are normally in matt black circular plastic bottles with a flip top lid. The other thing I like is that the lids do not ever break or fall off. I like to buy on bulk to keep the prices down and these bottles very much cater for this - for others who might prefer smaller bottles you may be looking around a bit as Ive only ever seen the small travel size bottles - about 100g which typically cost around £1.30 and you will not find the same level of choice in variants with these smaller bottles. I dont find that the the shampoo is difficult to get out of this bottle and I find that when it gets to the point that the shampoo or conditioner no longer pours out you can turn this bottle up sidedown and you get a good two weeks more out of it. Although the flip top makes it hard to balance up on end. The shampoo and conditioner themselves are of thick consistancy and clear as you might expect and they smell very nice, not too flowery for us blokes. To get a good lather you only need a small quantity even with long hair and there is always no residue providing you rinse thoroughly.
Since I've been spending a lot of time travelling backwards and forwards to see my boyfriend recently, I've been stocking up on travel sized toiletries to make travelling light easier. When looking at travel sized shampoos in my local Boots there wasn't much choice but as I have fine hair I went for this Tresemme 24 hour Body Shampoo. The travel sized 100ml bottle costs £1.32, or you can get the full sized 500ml bottle for £4.07. It comes in a black plastic bottle which unfortunately means you can't see how much you have left. My mini bottle has a screw off lid which is not very convenient and I find it a bit annoying to use in the shower, especially as the lid is only small and easy to lose track of if you drop it. However the full sized bottle has a much easier to use flip top lid. The shampoo is a clear gel which is a medium consistency, neither runny nor thick, however I do find it can take a while to get it out of the bottle despite it not being of a really thick consistency. It has a fresh fruity smell which is quite pleasant but it does smell a bit chemical and not very natural. It lathers up really well so I only need quite a small amount, and it feels really fresh on my hair and scalp. It rinses out pretty easily and my hair is left feeling thoroughly clean. My hair feels quite smooth and soft but I do find it feels quite tangled so I definitely need to make sure I use a conditioner afterwards. Once it's dry my hair looks shiny and healthy and I do think it looks a little thicker and more volumised than with a regular shampoo, though not as much as with other volumising shampoos I've used. I also don't think the volume it does give lasts 24 hours as you would expect from the name. Overall this is a good value shampoo that I'm happy to continue using whilst travelling, but I wouldn't choose it as my everyday shampoo.
Tresemme 24 Hour Body Shampoo I have tried and own quite a few of the Tresemme products and the majority of the time I have been happy with the results. Tresemme is probably best known for their brand advertisements of delivering saloon style products at a fraction of the cost. However, I would hesitate to suggest that they are quite as good as that, but the majority of their products are very nice. This Tresemme 24 hour body shampoo is probably one of my favourite shampoos from their range and probably just one of my favourite shampoos to date. The shampoo is quite thick, it has an almost gel like consistency and appearance that means you don't have to worry about squirting some into your hand and then losing it all before you get it onto your hair. The shampoo is pretty colour free and clear in complexion, it also doesn't have much of an odour about it. To use this you don't require much. I have quite long hair and even I don't find that I need more than a fifty pence blob to get a good lather. The reason this is probably my favourite Tresemme product is that it leaves my hair and scalp feeling clean without irritation or feeling like I am developing a product build up. This shampoo is also great for daily usage. As far as delivering added volume for 24 hours, I can't say that I have noticed much of a difference. However, I have quite thick hair and this shampoo might work better in this aspect for thinner hair that needs a bit of a lift. This shampoo is packaged in the standard black bottle that Tresemme favour in most of their shampoo range. I own the 900 ml size, which when full can be a tad heavy. However, I really like having the option of buying larger bottles that last for longer. I always tend to stock up on Tresemme products when there is a special offer on. I believe the last time I bought these shampoos Asda was doing a 3 for £10. Although this may be a tad pricier than other shampoos available in supermarkets and you do get a really nice quality product for your money. I have a sensitive scalp which is only made worse by some of the cheaper products available so I don't mind paying a little bit extra for something that suits my scalp and hair a bit more. I am going to give this a full five out of five star rating. I really like this shampoo and it leaves my hair clean, looking good and feeling nice. Overall, I would completely recommend trying out this shampoo, whether you already like other shampoos in this range or are new to the Tresemme brand.
The value for money that you get from this product is unreal, whilst looking at the price labels at the supermarket it might appear to be more expensive but when you compare the amount you actually get in the bottle it is very good value for money! They advertise that is this shampoo is similar to shampoos used in salons and i couldn't agree more, it leaves your hair feeling soft, it shines and is very easy to manage. I have curly frizzy hair so it is very important that i find hair products to help me control it and have found this shampoo seems to outshine any others! The only downside is that after using this shampoo for sometime i have found that my hair starts having a bit of a build up and can get quite greasy but using an alternative shampoo for a few days sorts it out, I think this may be due to how rich the shampoo is. But besides that I would higher recomend this shampoo.
I am always keen to try out different shampoos, especially when there is a good offer to be had! Recently whilst shopping in Asda I spotted an offer on Tresemme shampoo and conditioner. I had heard positive things about Tresemme both from reading reviews and from friends so was keen to try it out for myself. There are several variants of Tresemme to choose covering all hair types so it should be easy to find one to suit you. I opted for one promising to increase the body and thickness of my hair. I decided to buy both the shampoo and conditioner as they were on offer at 2 900 ml bottles for £5. The shampoo and conditioner comes in a large matt black circular plastic bottle with a flip top lid. I would have preferred the option to buy a smaller bottle so I could try the shampoo out but there was only one size available. The bottle states that this is salon quality and is used by professional stylists. The bottle is ok-but not really anything special. The information on the bottle promises that this shampoo will add body to my hair making it look thick and shiny. It also promises that all this will be achieved without any unwanted build up or loss of my hairs natural oils. The shampoo apparently contains silk proteins that will create softness and give bounce. It all sounds good to me! The shampoo is a bit difficult to coax out of the enormous bottle so a minus point from me! It is also not easy to grip such a large bottle especially with wet hands in the shower! The shampoo itself is quite thick and clear. It has a flowery sweet smell that is that I find pleasant. It is not overpowering but very subtle. I find I only need a very small amount of shampoo to produce a good lather. I wash my hair every day and this shampoo is a lightweight formula and so suitable for daily use. The shampoo is easy to rinse out and left no sticky residue. I always use conditioner after shampooing my hair and was impressed with the Tresemme version. I like have a final rinse with cool water as this helps to give a good shine to your hair. I usually blow dry my hair and have been very pleased with the results that this shampoo gives. My hair can be a bit flat and lifeless especially if I use the same shampoo for any length of time! Tresemme has certainly produced good results so far! My hair does appear thicker with a lovely shine! Although the shampoo has a lovely subtle scent when first applies it doesn't seem to last. Tresemme is widely available and I suggest you try it when it is on offer. A 900 ml bottle costs around £4. However Asda are selling two 900 ml bottles for £5.Overall I would recommend this shampoo, especially at the offer price!
For healthy volume!
