Advantages: See review.
Disadvantages: None.
24 Hour Body is a new range from Tresemme to replace the "healthy volume" range.
*PACKAGING*
The shampoo comes in a 900 ml black matte bottle with a magenta lid and clear label with white and silver writing and magenta detailing. The magenta replaces the orange from the previous range and makes, in my opinion, a far more attractive package.
The lid is a press lid, the inner component angles to allow the product to be squeezed out when pressed. The bottle plastic is well chosen, it doesn't become slippery even when wet and soapy, this is especially important because it is larger than the "normal" 200-250 ml bottles of other ranges and could easily hurt your foot if dropped in the shower.
*PRODUCT*
The shampoo is clear and thick, it takes a few seconds to level out on a flat surface. It has a very appealing scent, slightly floral and sweet, chemically but in a nice way, although this is irrelevant because the scent doesn't linger long after rinsing (always a plus in my opinion!).
*APPLICATION*
Instructions tell to "(coat) wet hair with a liberal amount of shampoo and massage the scalp and roots with fingertips to work into a lather". I do not use a "liberal" amount, a small amount about the sixe of a 10p coin (for shoulder length hair). The shampoo gives an abundant lather when massaged into the hair, and rinses clean quickly. After shampooing my hair is soft and not screaming for conditioner, although I always condition my hair, and squeaky clean.
*RESULTS*
After use of the complementing conditioner and blow drying (which is faster with this product than the tresemme moisturising range) my hair feels very soft and shiny and smooth. It also feels thicker and I have found this to last until the next time I wash my hair, without use of styling products. It doesn't give you instant supermodel hair, but it does give a good foundation for styling products.
*PRICE*
At around £4 per bottle you might be inclined to think it's pricey, but remember it is a 900ml bottle, so that's about 45p per 100 ml, compare with say, pantene, at £3 for 400 ml giving 75p per 100ml, it is a bargain.
*CONCLUSION*
This is an instant hit shampoo for me, I love everything about it and it does exactly what it says it will do. I'd also like to point out that I am a natural blonde (don't tell anyone!) and I dye my hair black-this shampoo doesn't strip the hair dye out of my hair, despite the fact that it deeply cleans.

Summary: Very good when used on dyed, shoulder length, fine hair.
