More chip shop than salon (Tresemme Colour Thrive Blonde Shampoo)
Member Name: gingerella
Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Caused extreme build up in my hair and made it feel dirtier than before I washed it! Due to the eternal credit crunch that is my life (!) this shampoo (and the accompanying conditioner) appealed to me as the price is much better than other shampoos for coloured blonde hair. I have to say though that it bitterly dispappointed both me and my partner. No matter how much we rinsed this product out under our power shower there was so much build up our hair looked greasy and we developed dandruff. This meant even after washing our hair once a day we looked like we'd been pouring chip oil on our scalps. I really wanted to like this as I always love a bargain but it was a complete false economy and I'd rather not put any shampoo in my hair than this in future. Both of us had wondered if our hair had just developed a greasy feel and dandruff but the moment we switched shampoos we had no such problems. I would never buy this again for that reason. Summary: A false economy that made my hair look and feel awful |
