Tresemme shampoo and conditioner tries very hard in its packaging to sell itself as an up-market, professional level hair product, and given this I have always wondered why it is available so cheaply and in bulk; a 900ml bottle of the conditioner (and indeed the accompanying shampoo) will set you back around £3 each, which isnt bad at all considering the size of the bottle.
Apparently this is because Tresemme have lost their backing by the professional hair care industry, withe the product being reprimanded for apparently not coming up to professional standards. It seems perfectly good to me however, and whilst the companion shampoo (designed, like the conditioner, to care for dry and damaged hair) is perhaps not up to the standard of other specialist shampoos, the conditioner is excellent, leaving hair feeling enriched and soft, and generally helping to rejuvenate dry hair ends. This is perhaps helped however by the fact that its cheapness means that you can slap a lot on at once, but in any case the result is the same: healthy-feeling hair with increased volume at a budget price.
Like the shampoo, the conditioner contains extracts of hazlenut, sunfower and almond, and has a pleasant, light fragance (though one that is not so strong as to alienate men from using the product). All in all, tresemme's Mousture-Rich Conditioner is cheap, simple and of a high (if not exceptional) quality, making it a good value choice all-round.
I first tried Tresemme moisture rich shampoo and condioners around 6 months ago. Trying to cut down on my shopping costs I spotted the huge 900ml bottles on 2 for £5! Bargain! I thought.
The bottles themselves are quite boring and clunky looking, sort of 'man' bottles, haha. The contents though are fabulous and of course, that's what counts!
The conditioner is very thick and creamy and smells beautiful, very fresh and a little sweet. Apply it all over hair, paying special attention to the ends as they tend to get dryer than the rest. I tend to leave it on for a couple of minutes, then rinse. The rinsing seems to take a little longer with this conditioner, possibly because it's so thick.
When using the shampoo and conditioner I previously used, my hair would seem frizzy and quite dry after blow drying. Straightening was an absolute necessity. With Tresemme it's brilliantly shiny and I just my straighteners to shape the kinks now!
I love this conditioner. It leaves my hair smelling gorgeous all day. My hair is so shiny and healthy looking. For the first time since I was a kid I've had people comment on how shiny it is!
Healthy looking, shiny, great smelling hair. All at a bargain price!
I bought this condition under those buy 1 get 1 free offer from the local supermarket. While initially skeptical about whether it will really deliver results, I bought it as I was unable to resist a bargain.
This product really delivers what it promises. My hair was full of static and really dry at the ends as the weather became drier over the last few months. It was painful to comb my hair and I despaired that my hair will ever go back to normal. the conditioner actually caused those dry ends to soften and they feel like they have so much less static in them and a lot softer.
They usually retail at about 4.13 pounds each in the local supermarket (might be cheaper at Boots if they are having those 2 for 4 pounds offer). I would recommend stocking up during the sale and using it over winter as winter is the time that most moisture is lost.
I was sceptical about Tresemme when I first used it. I found it on a 'Buy one, get one free' offer in the supermarket (look out for these - you can often get two massive 900ml bottles for under £5, which will last you months!). I couldn't believe that something so cheap could deliver the 'salon quality' results that the very swish packaging promised! However, I just can't resist a haircare bargain, so I decided to try them out anyway.
When I opened the bottle I was pleasantly surprised. The conditioner was nice and creamy, and thick (unlike some cheaper brands). It smelt lovely. When I dried my hair, I found that it was clean, shiny and manageable. Though it wasn't as glossy and moisturised as when I use the far more expensive Aussie Three Minute Miracle or Pantene products, it was nonetheless in better shape than when I washed with potions in the same price bracket.
An additional bonus is that Tresemme don't test on animals, so you can wash with a clean conscience!
A really good, everyday conditioner, at a great price!
I've heard a lot about the Tresemme professional hair care range of products,
and wanted to try their conditioner but was always put off by the price compared with the price of other brands.
Their conditioner also comes in a larger than usual size bottle....900ml.....so if it did'nt work well on my hair then I would have paid more than I usualy do and I'd be stuck with a huge bottle of unused conditioner.
Anyway the problem of price was solved when Tesco had a BOGOF offer and thankfully the conditioner does work well and I'm really pleased with it.
Tresemme E moisture rich conditioner is a professinal performance formula for dry or damaged hair which suits me fine as my hair is suffering from being constantly blow dried and straightened!
The bottle itself is as I said quite large and
white with simple black writing and has an easy to open press down top.
And although it's larger than the usual bottle it's easy to hold and not heavy or awkward.
The conditioner is thick and feels really silky soft,
the smell is difficult to describe as I cant smell anything in particular, just a nice clean, fresh smell and not over whelming at all.
After shampooing and towel drying, the ends of my hair feel quite dry and rough, but once I apply the conditioner it feels silky soft,
The conditioner works it's way through my hair really easy, I can actually feel it go from rough to smooth as I'm applying it
My hair is easier to brush now when wet with less tangles,
and when blow dried my hair still feels smooth and soft to the touch,
leaving it shiny and not flyaway as some conditioners leave it.
Since using Tresemme I have noticed a big improvement
and can say my hair is less dry and easier to manage,
it looks better and feels better.
Even although it is a bit more expensive than others on the market,
it works well and lasts for ages and if you can get a BOGOF then even better.
I will definitely be using it again, simply because it's professional quality and it works.
Tresemme salon quality products have been around for nearly 50 years and are available in supermarkets, Chemists and beauty salons nationwide.
I bought my conditioner over a month ago
as a BOGOF at Tesco for £3.56.

Shopping one day in Tesco my younger daughter was with me and asked if I had ever tried TRESsemmé. I replied "No, it's too expensive, and not for my age group". "It's really good" she replied, "and that's a great offer". I wasn't tempted but on passing the display on the shelf end, I thought "Why not, it's a bargain!" I love bargains! I bought a Shampoo and a conditioner. Ive already reviewed the shampoo and love it , so thought Id review the conditioner.
It is a big, heavy bottle, containing a huge amount of conditioner, 900mls. It is in a white plastic bottle, which is rather plain and not very attractive. The little logo is on the front and the name, with a "Used by Professionals" underneath. My product states Vitamin E and Moisture rich, and is for dry or damaged hair. My hair isn't really dry or damaged but I do have perms and so the hair needs to be pampered, or it will become dry and damaged. On the back of the conditioner is a guide to the conditioning level, and the Moisture Rich was next to deep. Healthy Volume, being the lightest and colour revitalising the deepest level. As always, a list of ingredients and also some tips.
Restores moisture and strength.
Enriched with the same ingredients as above.
Designed for dry, damaged hair.
Our patented professional performance formula dramatically improves hair's condition.
I was really interested in that last claim. DRAMATICALLY! Quite a claim I thought. Would it work? Probably not, but you'll need to read on to find out!
On the conditioner, the tips are to apply after shampooing evenly through hair, concentrating on the ends. (To me that is a contradiction, if it's even it is even, if you are concentrating on the ends they might be getting more!) For optimal manageability, use with TRESemmé shampoo and styling products.
The conditioner is white and slightly thicker than the shampoo, not as highly perfumed but a faint expensive perfume exudes as I massage it into my hair (concentrating on my ends of course!) A greasy, feel to the rich contents.
After washing my hair twice, I massage in the conditioner. I usually leave the conditioner on whilst I shower and then rinse it off. My hair feels sleek and hydrated, maybe slightly greasy until I towel dry it. I can now see where the expression "Water off a ducks back" comes from as my hair must be just like that! One disadvantage is I take ages in the shower as I love these products!
The bottle is large and not everyone wants a big, white bottle on display in their bathroom! They are also heavy when full and quite un-wieldy with wet hands, drop it on your toe, at your peril. It hurts! The conditioner is still half full and weighs 582gr. Another disadvantage is the shampoo is used up quicker than the conditioner, as I usually wash my hair twice, people with longer hair have the opposite problem and run out of conditioner first.
Clean, shiny hair. Smelling lovely and feeling good. Was there a dramatic difference?
I have to say YES! I have naturally straight hair and have had perms most of my adult life. They can go slightly frizzy at first, but this hasn't happened since using Tresemme, my hair looks much better.
At present on sale at £3.85 each or 2 for £5.00, a bargain as I've been using mine for several months, next time I buy it I'll have to see how long it lasts and will update this review.
I have since bought the mousse, in a black bottle of course, not too large just 30mls and so I am optimising the results. There are also sprays and gels and putty, which I haven't sampled yet.
I really need to change my bathroom to Black and White before I buy any more TRESemmé products! I'll have the white towels, my husband and son can have the black.
