Advantages: removes odors

Disadvantages: product evaporates, dodgy packaging, greasy hair, doesn't work.

I've never been a huge fan of Tresemme products and rarely buy them. But I'm a dry shampoo addict and when I heard there was going to be something different, I just had to get my hands on it. Dry shampoo can leave your hair feeling a little dry but this new concept was that it moisturised your hair while removing grease. I thought you can't really go wrong and this product would be excellent.

Claims from the Tresemme website :
''Now there is no need to miss a fresh look and feel even when you skip a shampoo. TRESemmé Instant Refresh Waterless Foam Shampoo is the perfect solution to cleanse & replenish hair without water.
The unique formula with aloe vera, revitalises your hair by removing oil, impurities and odour while moisturising dry lengths and ends.''

It comes in a 150ml mousse can and mine has leaked somehow and also the product inside has basically evaporated. The one I got is for dry hair but I think they also do one for oily hair.

How to use :
You squeeze out 2-3 pumps for midlength hair.
spread out evenly to the roots and the ends.
Then either towel dry or blowdry.
Fresh replenished hair?
Not quite.

I have quite long hair and only used two pumps for a safe bet. The mousse had left my hair feeling really producty, greasy and limp so I blasted the hell out of it with a blowdryer, for around 30 minutes because it just wasn't budging. I gave it a few more chances, because I like to always do that incase I've gone wrong. I tried using way less product and massaging it in as vigorously as I could and it always left the same disapointing result. In all fairness my hair smelt lovely and it got rid of odors such as cigarette smoke (attractive) and left my hair feeling soft but what good is that with greasier hair than I'd had before. I did give it a try on my mum and she somehow got a slightly better result for some reason. It certainly does not give any volume like batiste does instead it looks like you've dipped your head in a deep fat fryer.

I just loved the idea of this product, it's the first of it's kind but unfortunately doesn't deliver the results it has claimed! Hopefully some other brand will do the same thing that actually works sometime soon. The fact the product leaks and evaporates is disgraceful. I'm generally pleased with most products I get nowadays because most of the time you can't really go wrong but this was a huge let down and I hope they will consider changing the formula because it is such a brilliant idea. Would not advise anyone to purchase this it's a waste of money.

Summary: stick to batiste
