Very mixed opinion (Tresemme Healthy Volume Shampoo)

Disadvantages: Less concentrated and less of a range?

I quite like this shampoo, especially now as I'm budgeting more.

I don't drive though so it is a bit heavy to just pick up on my weekly shopping trip, but then again it does last longer and means less wasteful packaging, two good points in my book.

I was initially put off this product by the terrible cheesy advertising on TV. I also find it difficult to believe that 'professionals' use this shampoo in salons - perhaps in dog grooming salons?! I personally would go to a better hairdresser if they started trying to use that!

But anyway, on to the product itself. The shampoo smells good and the price is very good, but I think I might have hit on their advertising flaw - unlike most other shampoos which say to 'use sparingly', Tresemme advises you to use a lot. This leads me to think it's perhaps less concentrated than other shampoos, though it doesn't feel particularly thin or weak smelling. It also doesn't provide a range of say, anti-dandruff etc. products as far as I know (correct me if I'm wrong)!

This has been a pretty mixed review, because I think there are both good and bad things about Tresemme products particularly this shampoo and the parallel conditioner).

However, as we are advised to cycle through a range of shampoos because that's better for our hair, I tend to use it occasionally for this reason, or if I have only got it in the house.
