Tresemme Healthy Volume Shampoo

Advantages: Cheap, nice smells, maybe works a little
Disadvantages: Doesn't work enough for my liking
When it comes to the brand of Tresemme I'm not fussed about it. By that I mean I don't rave about the products as a rule or avoid them either and if they're offer (which they usually are around and about) and I need something such as shampoo I will give it a go by all means.
On this occasion though my mate Liz who was house clearing and staying in a caravan at the moment said have it if you want it and this being a nice big and full bottle I decided to snaffle it. I'm always moaning that my hair is thin and fine and lacks body and so I was all for trying a shampoo that may help me add some to my wayward locks!
I've only seen this particular size available to purchase in this particular formula so I have in front of me a black, cylinder plastic bottle with a flip-top lid to the top of it. On the front on the bottle in white writing I'm told it is Tresemme 'Used By The Professionals', Volume Pro Vitamin B5, Healthy Volume For Fine Or Flat Hair' and that it builds body & fullness for weightless, healthy volume and the size is stated which in this case is 500ml. On the back of the bottle other information includes being told a bit about the product, I'm told how to use it and ingredients are listed and contact details for Tresemme are given. It's a professional looking bottle being plain in it's appearance but it's informative enough at the same time.
A Bit About The Product According To The Back of The Bottle:
From our origins in salons around the world, we've always had a simple vision: to create stylist-tested, salon-quality products without the salon price tag, so you can experience that salon feeling everyday. TREsemme- professional, affordable.
Well all you do of course is wet your hair and apply about the size of a 10p coin of the transparent runny, off yellow coloured liquid to your hair by massaging it gently in.
It lathers up rather quickly but actually makes my hair squeak a bit signifying to me that it's stripping the natural oils out of my hair! It rinses out though and doesn't feel dry or anything and when it's gone it leaves no residue behind. I always rinse and repeat this process and find it very simple and straightforward to do so.
Smell wise when using it, it has a fruity sort of natural and indistintive fragrance to it which isn't in your face or anything like that and then once you dry your hair it only leaves a little bit of a fresh fragrance behind itself anyway.
It cleanses my hair though I'm not keen on the squeaky clean feeling it gives to my hair when I'm using but like I said once rinsed out of the hair you no longer get that feeling anyway. Hair feels soft enough though it does need conditioning after using this, I like the gentle smell of clean it gives to my hair too. Does it create volume though????
Well I'm in two minds about that question to be perfectly honest with you! I felt no difference to the texture or thickness of my hair at all but the same day I used this one of my friends did ask me about my hair as it looked thicker and glossier than usual!
It doesn't harm my hair or weigh it down or anything like that and most importantly my hair is clean after using it. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy this and it certainly isn't the best type of this product I've ever tried but it's ok! Just fails to excite me that's all!
This is available in many supermarkets and chemists etc and expect to pay about £3.19 for this (That price is from Boots).
