Advantages: Stops hair getting dried out, smells nice, reasonably priced, leaves hair soft.

Disadvantages: Bottle can leak, nozzle often gets blocked.

Tresemme Heat Defence styling spray is about £3 for 300ml. It comes in a black spray bottle, and has the Tresemme logo and slogan on the front, in white. The contrast of the white writing on the black product makes it look attractive and appealing.

This product is used for protecting hair whilst it is heat styled (with a hairdryer or straighteners etc). To use it, you just spray it evenly through hair before styling. It smells really nice (a sweet perfume-type smell) and leaves your hair very soft. After a few weeks of using this every day before I straightened my hair, I did start to notice that my hair was far less dry than it had been previously, so it does work! It also helps to keep your hair styled nicely for longer.

The 300ml bottle does last a long time (I have had mine for a few months now), but probably would not be great for travelling as it could spray/leak in your bag. I also find that the nozzle can often get blocked, which does get annoying as it won't spray properly until you unblock it.

To conclude, this product is definitely worth the price as it does leave your hair much healthier, softer and styled for longer.

Summary: A great product if you want your hair to stay healthy whilst straightening.
