I am a big wearer of hair extensions (I feel bald without them!) and so on a regular basis I have them and of course they need straightening, as does my own natural hair! I have various straighteners, and also blow dry my hair after washing so of course as all us ladies know heat is not too good for our hair so I like to protect my hair and for this I use Tresemme Heat Defence Styling spray.

It costs £4.69 for a 300ml spray bottle but there is currently an offer on at Superdrug for 2 of their Tresemme products for £6.99 so some handy savings! The spray is essentially to help protect hair damage from heat and also to add shine and smooth frizz! It comes in a nice sleek looking black bottle which kind of reminds me of a cleaning product if I'm honest but the bottle looks quite professional amongst my hair product collection. Using the spray is easy, just press and release the lever and an ample amount of spray is released onto my hair (and my extensions!) and gives good coverage.

I use this spray after by applying it liberally onto my hair (albeit as well as a hair protecting serum) after washing but before blow drying so my hair is not overly hoarse and dry as I find it can be if I don't apply anything. On an occasional basis I also use this spray when I straighten my hair and it is fantastic. It leaves my hair smooth, silky soft and with a nice luxurious shine which lasts all day and my hair looks vibrant and bouncy.

Overall I am happy with this product and I definitely think this product is worth every penny and sticks up to it's claim. It helps protect my hair from being lifeless and damaged as it gives excellent defence against the damaging effects of heat and so I do not find my hair to be brittle or dry in any way.
