When I bought the shampoo from this brand I also decided to buy the matching hair conditioner too to give it a go because I hadn't bought it before. I don't always buy matching products and generally buy both products if they are on special offer. This one was so I bought it at the same time as I bought the shampoo.
It comes in a plastic bottle and has the name very clearly on the front and so can easily be spotted on a shelf. The conditioner is white in colour and has a nice consistency which is quite rich and it doesn't drip from the bottle while pouring it onto the hands. It also flows well from the bottle too.
It is a creamy kind of liquid and has a really nice fragrance to it. It has a slight floral scent to it and mostly has a perfume fragrance. I think the small amount of floral one works well with this conditioner. The scent isn't too over powering but it is a strong scent. I can smell it when I am working it into my hair and after my hair has dried. The smell is also a little sweet smelling too.
You don't need a lot of the conditioner to soften the hair. A little goes a very long way and using too much isn't necessary. If you use too much it becomes too heavy on the hair and weighs it down a little but if you only just a small amount the hair is fine and it doesn't feel lanky.
It claims to lock in the moisture and give it hair salon results and a natural appearance. I think this is a super conditioner for softening the hair and giving it a nice glossy shine to it but I wouldn't say it is salon perfect. I have my hair washed when I go to the hairdressers and have for many years and wouldn't say this one works in quite the same way but it is still a good one. I am more than happy with the results. Contains vitamin E to help condition the hair really well.
My hair has movement after blow drying it. It flows from side to side and flows naturally. It doesn't leave any residue on the hair and it doesn't leave that sticky feeling.
After conditioning the hair and leaving it on the hair for a couple of minutes before rinsing it off, it is very easy to style the hair. I can easily brush my brush through my hair without my hair feeling all tangled etc. my brush simply brushes through it really well.
My Velcro rollers can easily be placed in and out of my hair without becoming entangled around my hair. Because my hair is so soft it easily can wind around my hair well after using this conditioner.
I can feel how soft my hair feels when I run my fingers through my hair or place my hair behind my ears which I do quite a lot and I can feel how smooth my hair feels when I do this.
For a 900ml bottle I paid £2.40 on special offer from Tesco and I think this is a very good value price for this amount of conditioner in the bottle. The quality is really good too.
I am really happy with the results from this conditioner and I will most certainly buy it again in the future. I highly recommend it for others to buy and I think it would be a really nice one to try if you have a lot of people in your family who need to use a hair conditioner.
I give this one 5 stars.
Thank you for reading my review and I hope it has been of some help.
I like to shop around for bargains when it comes to shampoo and conditioner to try and get a bargain, so when I spotted this half price in Superdrug, I decided to try.
Price and availability
The conditioner comes in a couple of different sized bottles, ranging from 100ml to 900ml and the prices range from £2 - £5. I brought the 900ml bottle which cost me £2.49 which I think is excellent (to be fair, I think at full price £4.99 for 900ml is quite good). We well as being available in Superdrug, Tresemme is quite a popular brand and I have found it available in places such as Boots, Wilko's and most supermarkets.
There are lots of different versions of the conditioner available depending on you hair condition. Tresemme boast in the bottle that this locks in moisture and instantly gives a salon healthy look and shine so because I straighten my hair a lot, it does tend to loose its natural shine and also feels a bit dry, I decided to buy this version to see if it would help.
The bottle is slightly see-through and white and topped with a black lid which is opened by depressing one side, I do find that the lid is really easy to operate, even when in the shower and my hands are wet.
To the front of the bottle is a white label which details the product name and description in black and blue lettering, I'll be honest, the bottle itself isn't very eye-catching and unless this was on promotion, I don't think that I would have even took notice of this, never mind purchasing.
For me, the only downside of the bottle is the size, because I chose the 900ml bottle, it is really quite chunky (it measures around 4inches in diameter) so it does take up a lot of room in the shower cubicle. Luckily, I have a shelf which it fits on but it does mean that there isn't a lot of room for much else and I could imagine that should this have to be placed on the side of the bath or on the floor of the shower cubicle, it could take up a lot of room.
The conditioner is white in colour and really thick, so much that it has a gel like consistency to it. Despite this being quite thick, it is easy to dispense from the bottle, just a gentle squeeze and it comes out. The fragrance is sweet but not too sickly and I would actually say it has a floral hint to it too, the staying power of the fragrance is good, several hours after using I can still smell on my hair.
I always try to use the shampoo and conditioner from the same range as I do feel that this does seem to deliver the best results. It is worth noting that Tresemme only sell the shampoo and conditioner in this range and no other styling products.
The bottle states to apply an adequate amount from root to ends, I have hair which is just below my shoulders and I find that I need to use around 2 x 50p sized amounts to ensure that my hair has a good coating (I tend to always use double to amount of conditioner to the amount of shampoo, regardless of the brand).
I started to gently rub into my hair, particularly focusing on mind shaft to the ends and then I used a wide toothed comb to ensure the conditioner was evenly distributed throughout my hair. Unlike a lot of modern conditioners, Tresemme state that this has to be left on for 2 to 3 minutes before its rinsed which I do find a bit of a pain, especially during the week when I always seem to be in a bit of a hurry.
Despite the conditioner being quite thick, I did find that it rinsed quite well and I didn't have to spend ages rinsing my hair, I could tell at this point that my hair did feel quite soft.
When I brushed my hair, I'll be honest, the conditioning properties weren't that great and I did find that my despite combing the conditioner through, my hair was still quite tangled, especially from the roots to mid length. My hair did feel quite light and not weighed down by the conditioner which I liked.
After I had dried my hair and straightened, I would say that my hair did feel soft and did have a nice shine to it; although I wouldn't say that the shine was as good as when I attend the hairdressers like Tresemme boast.
I have been using the shampoo, along with the conditioner for over a month now and there is still quite a bit left in the bottle. Considering that both I and the other half wash our hair daily, this is working out excellent value for money.
I have been using the conditioner along with the shampoo for well over a month and there is still quite a lot left in the bottle which I think shows what good value for money this is, especially considering that I was my hair and use this daily.
Overall, as a conditioner, this does make my hair quite soft but it doesn't really do what it advertises and for that reason, this only gets 3 out of 5 stars.
Thanks for reading.
For about a year now I have been championing the tresemme brand for my hair and I refuse to use any other. My hair is naturally quite dry and sometimes can even become straw like and I find that the only shampoos and conditioners that help me counter this problem is tresemme, I really do believe it give you salon quality hair for a affordable price.
This specific conditioner is definitely my favourite out of all the ones they do, purely because it restores the moisture and enriches my hair like no other. It is very good value for money, especially considering how long it last as a little really does go a long way. I would personally really recommend this to people who use any heat appliance on there hair as it is great at restoring damaged hair to it former glory.
(I find best results are achieved if used this with a tresemme shampoo also)
My poor hair - I seemed to have been neglecting it quite badly lately, what with all the straightening I have been doing. Also as I have been avoiding the hairdressers as I am trying to grow my hair....(bad I know). The ends had become really dry and brittle and so I decided it was time to give my hair some tender loving care. Conditioning was the first step - and so I bought this Tresemme Moisture Rich Conditoner with Vitamin E.
The conditioner is white in colour and has quite a thick consistency and whilst it doesn't really create a lather, it covers my hair well. I find that I do need a lot of conditioner for my hair - around two 50p coin sized dollops.
Whilst the majority of the time, I try to leave the conditioner on for at least ten minutes, other times, especially when I have more time, I will leave the conditioner on for around half an hour. My hair is left lovely and silky soft feeling. It also gives my hair a great shine. After a week or so of use, I have noticed that my hair is in a much better condition and it isn't so dry. It's well moisturised and looks 'well' now, whereas as before it looked really dry and uncared for.
It's recommended that you use the same shampoo to get the true benefits of this conditioner - however, I haven't been using the Tresemme Moisture Rich Shampoo and find that the conditioner works just as well on my hair.
All in all I love this conditioner and would definitely recommend it!

Having tried so many different shampoos and conditioners over the years I have come across some good ones, some outstanding and some really bad but it's all about trying out what suits your hair best and of course your purse too.
I buy this product in 900ml bottles. They come in other sizes too but I find the 900ml is the best value. It's not a handy travel size, but you can always buy a smaller bottle if you are going away. Keep the bottle and keep topping it up next time.
At full price the 900ml is around £4-5. I find that's an acceptable price. But if you can find it on offer it is even better value and I often top up when I see them as low as £2 a bottle. Wilkinsons often have them on offer at just over £2 so it's worth shopping around cause at that price it really is the best value around.
The conditioner itself is a nice thick consistency and spreads nicely through my hair. It smells fresh and slightly sweet. It's not an outstanding smell (I love the fruity ones like Herbal Essences myself) but it's lovely and fresh. And I often use leave in conditioners afterwards which add extra fruity smell.
After conditioning my hair, rinsing and towel drying I leave my hair to dry naturally. It dries very nicely and feels soft and nourished. It styles very easily too.
Overall I would say this is the best value conditioner on the market if you can get it for under £3. It'll last you a long time and it will make your hair feel soft and not dried out like some other products on the market. And at that price you may as well give it a go, you have nothing to lose. I would recommend their other conditioners too so find one that suits your hair!
My hair is naturally fairly dry, and therefore very prone to frizz and static. I spent my early teenage years trying to control this, so when I saw the 900ml Tresemme moisture rich shampoo and conditioner on offer in Savers, and thought I'd give it a try. I've been using it for about a year now, and I can certainly notice the difference in my hair. Whilst it doesn't give me that advert like sleek frizz free glossy hair, it has certainly helped tame my frizz and helped keep my hair soft and prevented it from dying out, even with relatively frequent use of heated appliances. The lasting power of the bottle is incredible -the 2 900ml bottles of shampoo and conditioner last me about 8 months, washing my hair 2-3 times a week
The best way to use the conditioner is to keep it on for as long as possible, so I tend to apply an amount which rubs over all of my hair from roots to ends, as I get quite a dry scalp as well as dry hair, and it helps to moisturize the skin on my head as well. I then use showergel and then if i need to shave I do so, and then wash it off thoroughly. I get ultra-soft hair if I leave it on overnight, though this sometimes comes at a loss of control over my hair, as it is so slippy and smooth!
I should also point out I use this product as a shaving cream! This is a technique my friend recommended and it really works. My legs are really super-smooth after shaving with this- I simply rub a thin layer all over and shave as normal. It doesn't work so well for underarms, but it's great for my legs!
