Advantages: Thickens up my hair and adds body :)

Disadvantages: There are cheaper mousses out there :(

Now like a lot of girls my age I like to have my hair styled a certain way, I have mine with an 'emo' style fringe and very straight...

I wash and style my hair every day so I find it becomes a bit lifeless if I don't use a good quality mousse to add some body after washing and conditioning.

There is always a bottle of 'Tresemme Salon Finish Extra Control Mousse' in our bathroom which I am not supposed to touch but my philosophy is if you don't wan it touching then hide it, lol!

This mousse is expensive at around £4 a bottle but it is really strong stuff and gives a maximum hold that I really love :)

Tresemme is a really famous brand now for advertised as being used by professionals but being affordable for us mere mortals. It promises 'lasting body and shine' and of course the extra control a strong product gives when adding body to your locks.

Sold in a shiny black tube with 300ml contents, there is a huge write up on the back about the company's philosophy of salon testing their hair care range before selling to the rest of us at an affordable price.

This is a pressurised pump action can that needs thoroughly shaking before using, and you need about a small palm full of the white frothy mousse for long hair like mine.

The mousse contains vitamin B5 to help strengthen hair and add shine and I think by the results I have had this really works...

The empty can needs to go to aluminium recycling please :)

When I use this mousse I let it absorb into my hair for a bit and it starts feeling thicker pretty much straight away. On blow drying I can tell the difference when I use this product so I think it does all it promises to do.

I would say it coats the strands really well if you comb it through thoroughly, and it definitely adds some lift to my hair.

Five stars from me although I still think it's a bit expensive, but it does last for months even with regular use :)
