Advantages: Really cleans hair, good value

Disadvantages: Not as good a the stuff in salons

I got sucked in to the Tresemme being professional quality shampoo and started using it and although I'm sceptical about how near to professional quality it is, it's still a good product.

For people like me, whose hair gets dirty and grease builds up quickly, the deep cleansing shampoo is one of the best I've tried, it really does leave your hair feeling beautifully clean and light, you even get that squeak to your hair when it's wet.

The price of the products is not bad, coming in a bit under £4 a bottle sounds steep, but these are big 500ml bottles and the shampoo froths well, meaning you don't need to use too much. Also buying bigger size bottles means you don't have to worry about stocking up as often. Also have a look out for buy one get one free offers that seem to be on frequently in supermarkets and the likes of Wilkinson and Superdrug.

Summary: A really good shampoo
