Advantages: Lasts a Long Time

Disadvantages: May be too harsh for some hair types

After flitting about different manufacturers, basically buying whatever was on offer for years, I decided to find a shampoo I liked and stick to it. I asked around and chanced upon Tresemme Vit C shampoo "The Green Label".

Packaging:
I quite like the classic style packaging of tresemme, the shampoo comes in Black bottles and the conditioner in translucent white bottles. Meaning that it looks quite smart on the shelf in any bathroom.

Price:
It's not the cheapest, nor the most expensive shampoo but it is often on special offer. I wrote to them to thank them for producing a good quality shampoo and I got some vouchers so to be honest, despite me being tighter than two coats of paint, I've been quite impressed by them,

Product:
The smell of this isn't as "chemical" as some shampoos I've used, it just smells nice and clean, not too sickly. I've got quite long hair and I tend to use a 50p sized squirt which does the trick. When I get about half way down the bottle, I often mix in a bit of water which helps to eke out a few more days but to be honest, I wash my hair every day and the bottle (500ml) I have now has lasted me about 4 months.

Performance:
It makes my hair squeaky clean, it is perhaps a little harsh but I condition my hair once a week and that seems to be fine. I haven't got any split ends or dry bits but then I very rarely use heated products on my hair as for work it goes up in a bun and stays there. Only if I'm going out does it get anything done to it. Ive not had it cut since Sept (see above note about being too stingy) and it seems to be doing ok.

This is definitely worth a try.

Summary: Excellent VFM, depends on your hair type, Give it a go!
