I bought this product recently when it was on special offer. I always have used budget (shops own) shampoos previously and so was expecting something extra special from this high priced (£6.99 ish) celebrity hairdresser shampoo. I also bought it and used it in conjunction with the conditioner in the same range.

I have long naturally straight hair which this product is made for. I never usually use a shampoo for straight hair as I wasn't sure there was any advantage.

I was severely disappointed with this shampoo as I found it did nothing special to my hair. I washed and dried my hair as usual and noticed absolutely nothing different, than using a cheaper brand shampoo.

The bottle I found was an annoying shape. The lid flips back, and when you are trying to squirt out the shampoo (it is quite thick) the lid flaps around all over the place. I didn't think this was particurly useful. As the lid is slanted it also make it quite difficult to upturn the bottle to get all the shampoo out of the bottle.

The fragrance was nice but not overpowering. It was just a clean smell - not too chemically. I wouldn't however but this product for scent alone.

The packaging looks quite funky but on the shelf with all the other Trevor Sorbie products I did find it quite difficult to select the ones for my hair type. The packaging was all too similar. If you use this product regularly though I expect you will know what you are looking for.

I wouldn't recommend this product and certainly won't buy it again, unless it is very cheap.

Summary: I won't be buying this again.
