Advantages: Leaves hair soft, silky and shiny, good value for money

Disadvantages: Comes in a really huge bottle!

I wash and blow dry my hair every day and most days use straighteners too so I like to use a conditioner to keep my hair in good shape. The conditioner that I normally use is TRESemme Vitamin E Moisture Rich Conditioner.

This conditioner is designed for dry and damaged hair and states that it restores moisture and strength. The conditioners TRESemme do come in 4 strengths from the light healthy volume conditioners through remoisturising, moisture rich to the deep conditioning level of the colour revitalising conditioner. This conditioner is enriched with natural extracts of sunflower, hazelnuts and almonds which are rich in Vitamin E.

TRESemme like to produce big bottles of their products to give you the feeling you are buying products that salons would use. Their advertising is based around the fact that these products are "used by professionals" although I have never seen a hair salon that uses them. I would be interested to know if any hair salons do actually use their products.

I am always easily persuaded to buy a bargain and when I bought my shampoo it was on a 2 for 1 offer and I got a big shampoo and a conditioner. My bottle is 900ml and is huge! It has also lasted me for ages as I don't use it every day as I don't always have the time to shampoo and condition. The conditioner normally retails around £4.17 for the large 900ml bottle which does seem to last forever.

The bottle is a large plastic bottle with a cap at the top that snaps open and shut easily using just your thumb. The conditioner is a thick white substance and has a lovely fresh and fruity smell.

Instructions are simply after shampooing apply the conditioner evenly through the hair concentrating on the ends as these are where the hair is at is most dry and damaged. You should then leave on for 2 or 3 minutes and rinse.

The conditioner is easy to distribute into your hair and I like to massage it in and make sure all the hair is coated. Often I don't wait for the full 2 or 3 minutes and simply massage in then rinse off, I find the effects are still great so if you don't have time to wait don't worry it does still work. As soon as you start rubbing this into your hair you can feel your hair becoming lovely and soft and its easy to rinse out too.

When I comb my hair I feel that there are no knots or tangles and my hair feels really soft. After drying my hair I feel that it still is soft and is also shiny. I also find my hair sits much better and is much easier to style after I have conditioned it with this conditioner. I think this is a great value hair conditioner that works really well and gives great results. I think I need to be a bit more organised in the morning and make sure I have time to condition my hair more often with this product so I have great looking hair every day.

If you haven't tried TRESemme today I would recommend it. I am still slightly dubious about their "used by professionals" claim but I use it and find it does work so that's enough for me!

Summary: A conditioner which leaves you with soft, silky hair.
