Advantages: Increases volume quite dramatically (but not straight away)

Disadvantages: Can be quite pricey, not keen on the packaging or overall design

Although I have the matching shampoo, I haven't been using them together for very long. This conditioner was actually my mum's and I was using it as my conditioner had run out and I wasn't going to the shops for a few days. Because of this, I was using it with a shampoo that wasn't Umberto Giannini.

***The Packaging***
Whereas the shampoo comes in a clearish bottle, this isn't the same for the conditioner, which makes it difficult to know exactly how much is left in the bottle without taking the lid off. I know that this isn't a major disaster as far as packaging goes, but seeing as the shampoo has a more or less transparent bottle, it would make sense for the conditioner to be the same. As with the shampoo, the lid unscrews at the top and you have to take the lid off fully to be able to tip some conditioner out of the bottle. I personally prefer these types of bottles to be flip-lid if they need to be turned upside down to get to the product as I find it all too easy to tip too much out.

***The Conditioner***
The shampoo is a light green colour and seems runnier than the conditioner, which is more white and has a much thicker consistency, as you might expect. Although it's quite thick, it was quite slippy in that it seemed to slide off my hair quite easily at the ends and I found that I needed to rub it in slightly to make it stick around for the required few minutes.

***The Results***
If you've read my review of the shampoo, you'll know that I was pretty impressed with it despite not using both products together so I was hoping for similar results here. In the beginning, I was using it with another shampoo that wasn't from the Amazing Body range (or Umberto Giannini in general), but that didn't seem to make much of a difference. The first time I used the conditioner, I wasn't overly impressed with it as although it did a good job of detangling, it didn't seem to have made an impression on my flat and lifeless hair. In the next couple of hair washes, it started to come into its own and I noticed a big difference in how my hair looked and felt. It looked a lot bouncier and had some definite movement for the first time in years. I was suitably impressed enough to buy the shampoo (which I've also reviewed).

Summary: Very impressed with the UG Amazing range in general!
