Advantages: Can wake up curls brilliantly and also acts as a hair spray.

Disadvantages: Works better on different hair types than others. Instructions need to be followed exactly.

This product has quite a strong fragrance, but smells gorgeous (a bit like grapefruit). It is a pink tinted thin liquid and comes in a designer bottle. Priced at £4.50, it’s rather expensive, but it also promises the world, which I think is probably where it goes wrong.

It guarantees “beautiful frizz free, curly hair, with incredible shine and movement”.

It also claims to work on wet, dry, naturally curly, permed and heat styled hair but I found it works best on dry hair that has been styled in the morning and needs a quick fix and on hair that has not yet been styled and is still wet. It works less well on hair that is all frizz and has not been styled at all. I would also imagine that the effects would vary on different hair types.

The instructions say to spray lightly over hair. What they don’t make clear is that if you fail to follow this direction exactly your hair will be come a sticky, greasy, limp mess and can only be fixed with a long shower. But if you use too little and do not spray evenly over your hair, it does not work at all.

When the directions are directly followed however, it does do as it promises to do, revitalises tired curls and successfully prevents frizz, generating super shiny, beautiful hair.

It also acts as a hair spray, with a long lasting hold that you can barely feel.

Considering everything, I was fairly pleased with the result, although I do feel that there could be improvements.
