Advantages: Keeps it's promises.
Disadvantages: None At All!
I requested this link to be added because as anyone who reads my reviews now knows I'm addicted to hair products! I love em and up until recently I bought whatever looked interesting and was cheap in pound shops and the like hence to add that nothing was any good so I wasn't impressed and therefore never bought anything 'expensive'. That all changed just before Christmas when I spent an absolute fortune on stuff in Boot's and got loads of £2.00 off vouchers on the higher end of the market hair care products. I've never spent so much on my hair even with the money off and nowadays I'm still using all the stuff I bought and very pleased I am with it all too but still and I'm buying bits and pieces of the good stuff lol
So I came across this in a bargain bucket in somewhere I think I'm getting addicted to which is T.J Hughes! Now I only bought the a sample tube and it has a different name to the link I found. It is the same product but its changed its name ever so slightly this is why I got it cheap!
Packaging....
Umberto Giannini 'Mini's' Dazzling Shine Out From The Crowd Shampoo (Ultimate Shine, All Hair Types) in the mini size comes in a foil feel tube which is recyclable and the size is 50ml. It's a gold/yellow colour with black writing on it and it opens at the bottom by a clear twist on/off cap. On the back tells me the promise of using the product, directions for use, contact details for Umberto Giannini, and ingredients.
The Promise....
'So.... you want shiny, glossy hair with weightless soft texture? SHINE is a regime that moisturises, protects, tames frizz and achieves a light reflecting lustre to even the dullest hair'.
Verdict....
Well I wash my hair through twice with this shampoo. It takes about the size of a 10p piece and the liquid is quite thick and clear and you can smell what seems to be of flowers and fruit oils but it's not distinct just very fresh and delicate. It lathers up lovely and washes out easily. Personally I have never used the matching conditioner as I bought this for nights when I go out as a little treat with sachets of conditioners and treats for my hair after using it.
As I said it washes out very easily and although hair needs conditioning afterwards hair doesn't 'feel' like it must have a drink of conditioner. It's none drying and I can get a comb through my barnet with ease and I can tell my hair is more defined and less frizzy just to the touch before using conditioner.
Results....
This product keeps it's promise. Yes I use a separate conditioner but I have used them alongside other shampoos and not had the same results. My hair is soft, smooth and silky. Frizz is irradiated and the most important promise is the shine and yes it wins out on that score too! I have black hair which is dyed so I expect my hair to be shiny anyway but with this it really look does appear to have a mirror like shine that can't be faulted and I've even had comments on it! Hair smells lovely and not overpowered, frizz really is tamed and if I don't want to use other hair products to style I actually don't have to as after using this shampoo my hair knows how to behave itself!
Simply it's a really beautiful shampoo that I cant stop raving about My hair has never felt so hydrated and glossy. It's just terrific ladies!
I got my sample size in T.J Hughes for 50p but this size is £1.79 in Boot's and full size I have seen at it's cheapest for £3.49 a bottle and it's worth it's price tag even if you just use it for special occasions! ( which is what I do!).
Summary: The perfect shampoo!
