Disadvantages: If you wash your hair in the mornings, it might be a bit of a waste of time?

I am a complete hair product addict, and it seems like companies are endlessly coming out with new things to draw us in! The idea of an 'overnight moisture balm' strikes me as a brilliant idea - most people don't have the time to sit around with their hair in a towel waiting for conditioner to work its magic, so instead you can just stick this on your hair before bed, and wake up with beautiful locks! Clever little timesaver, I thought.

So I bought this product in good faith - as other reviewers have said, it's relatively cheap (can't recall exactly but I paid under a fiver for mine) and the bottle is a decent size. When I used it, I actually washed it out the next morning, forgetting that it has a 'no-rinse' formula... but I still found that it had worked wonders on my hair! I live in a soft-water area which affects the way I can style my hair (it seems to make it far more fly-away and prone to frizz) but after using the moisture balm my hair was much smoother and easier to manage.

I have since tried leaving it in, and then restyling the next morning, and I have to say this item is GREAT for curls. If you smooth it over newly washed curls and give them a quick scrunch just before bed, you will wake up with beautiful, big curls that do not frizz whatsoever and look natural - not all crunchy or hard like some curl products can make them look!

All in all, I think it's a pretty good buy. I'm not convinced that you could use it for several days without needing to wash it out (but then I'm a stickler for 'product build up' in my hair - it makes me feel icky!), but if you stick to washing every two days, and particularly if you're a curly girl, it is a brilliant product!

Summary: Makes your curls fantastic, smells divine and is cheap! What more could you ask for?
