Advantages: Does smooth out frizz

I have always had trouble taming my hair it never looks "nice", I don't think anyway! I am forever looking for products to banish frizz and make it look shiny especially for nights out and special occasions. I am going to review the Umberto Giannini Perfect Beauty Finishing Cream and rate it according to my experience of it.....enjoy!

Packaging

I purchased a 100ml bottle with pump action which is effective as it only releases a small amount at a time (all that's needed really). Only problem is the bottle is white and you cannot see when you are due to run out of the product (this is a bit of a pet hate of mine!) Not a major issue though!

The product and the promises

The actual cream is white with a gel like consistency. It is easy to apply just a few pumps of the container onto hands, rub hands together to create a shiny film and then smooth over problem areas of hair. I tend to concentrate on the roots. I have also found that the effects don't last awfully long and sometimes (depending on how big a bag I am taking out with me) I will put the bottle in my bag and apply later on.

The bottle states that it:
a) Adds Texture - Not really seen much of this...

b) Smoothes Frizz - It is good for this however as stated earlier the effects don't last for a long time.

c) Divine Shine - Does remove dullness from hair

The bottle also states a very important fact - LESS IS MORE! I have found this to be most definitely be true too much leaves hair looking greasy and overworked!!


To Conclude

Don't think I would recommend this product. It does banish all those sticky out bits of hair but doesn't really keep all the promises it makes on the back. I would prefer to use a good hairspray to finish off a look rather than this.

Summary: Not ideal!
