Finally a shampoo that doesn't weigh my hair down! (Umberto Giannini Voluptuous Body Shampoo)

Advantages: Makes my (often) lank hair look much better and gives a nice glossy shine

Disadvantages: The volume isn't quite voluptuous level

I normally use a shampoo that is specifically formulated for greasy hair but as none of the ones that I have tried have done much good, I decided to try a different tack and go for one that transforms lank hair instead.

***The Packaging***
The bottle is more or less transparent so you can easily see how much shampoo is left. One thing that I wasn't so keen on with this shampoo is the fact that you have to unscrew the lid and tip it upside down to get the shampoo out. With it not being a flip lid or similar, it's all too easy to end up with half the bottle in the palm of your hand! That's one thing to bear in mind if you're not the best at gauging how much shampoo is coming out (like me!).

***The Shampoo***
The shampoo itself is a lightish green colour and has a light fragrance that I can't pinpoint (it's not fruity or anything like that). It's easy to lather up in your hair and you don't need to use too much so the bottle goes quite a long way. I have a tendency to wash my hair either every day or every other day, and the bottle lasted me around two to three weeks.

***The Results***
I have been using this shampoo for around six weeks now and I've seen a definite improvement. It's still quite lank and greasy around the roots as you might expect from a shampoo that isn't designed for greasy hair, but the rest of my hair looks a lot less dull and lank and actually moves around now when I move. I wouldn't say that the volume that it creates is voluptuous(as in the name), but it certainly looks miles better than it did before! Overall, it looks a lot better in terms of condition and has a nice shine to it too.

Summary: One of the few haircare products that has actually done something good to my hair!
