Advantages: CHEAP, NEAR GREAT SHOPS, LOTS OF ATTENTION

Disadvantages: TAKES AGES, CANT PICK WHO CUTS YOUR HAIR

My sister and I both needed our hair sorting out and with little money to spend decided we would make perfect models. We chose Vidal sassoon because of their reputation and we knew they would use decent products. After booking our appointment we went along to the school, which is just off of Bond Street. You go in and it is really small, pay your money £20 for highlights and I think a cut is about £5.00. Then you are given a card and have to wait until you are called, there are lots of trendy students walking around the place. When its time to go up you get separated into your groups and led up 1000s of stairs to these rooms and then you wait to be picked by the students, you cant choose who you get and everyone is trying to avoid the extra weird looking ones and edge towards the decent Ricky martin look alikes (there are a few).
Eventually you get chosen and are told to sit while the ask what you are aiming for etc. Then the teacher checks they are going to do it right, which is very reassuring. Luckily me and my sister were sitting next to each other so we could have a chat otherwise i would definitely recommend taking a book and some sweets it takes forever. Five and a half hours later we were done they took some pictures for their portfolios and off we waddled very stiff from all that sitting, but not stiff enough to miss all those shops just outside.

Our hair looked fantastic very professional and very cheap. If you are short of money and have some time to spend well worth a visit.

Summary: Brilliant for a cheap yet designer cut or colour.
