... but find that I needed to start doing something less abrasive, as I might end up having to cut my beautiful long hair, due to the condition getting too damaged. I thought this hot air brush looked quite handy, as it would style and dry my hair at the same time. It was very cheap compared to my other stylers, but I already owned some Vidal Sassoon straighteners and thought they were of excellent quality, so how much worse could these be? This hot air brush has 2 heat levels and one cool shot option. It comes with 3 ...more

Premium Review Vidal Sassoon VS145 Classic Hot Air Dryer & Styler: nice alternative to straighteners (365 words)

I bought this hot air brush for just 15 pounds at Sainsbury's. I try to avoid leaving my hair to air dry as the results are shocking (and not in a good way!) My hair is vey thick and it dries wavy when I don't use any stylers or hair dryers. I also get these annoying little sticking up fry-away hairs near where my parting is and I find them very unsightly. I also wanted to give my hair a break from contestant styling with straigteners at 200 degrees. I style my hair every other day and do use a heat protection spray but find that I needed to start doing something less abrasive, as I might end up having to cut my beautiful long hair, due to the condition ...  Read the complete review

I brought this hair dryer for my mom last christmas, it wasnt exactly what we were looking for as my mom had short curly hair which she used to use a hot brush on untill it broke a year ago and we looked everywhere but you cant seem to get one from anywhere these days so we brought this hoping she would be able to achieve the same results as it comes with a circular brush attachment along with various others. This hair dryer didnt exactly do what we wanted so in the end my mom had to change her hair style after 18 years, about time too i can hear you saying. Her hair is now bobbed just below her ears and streight, she has found the circular brush ...  Read the complete review

I’ve changed the title of this review since publishing it on another site but when telling a friend about the product I made this slip-up and decided it might give some of you a giggle. (Sorry to those it offends :-( ) I must confess that I don’t use all of the attachments all of the time but the thermal brush is in constant use (having long straight hair, and not very much of it, it's perfect for me), and the other attachments are great for when I want to make a special effort or want a change of style. The bag, appliance and attachments weight about 700 grams which is a consideration when travelling. The 1000 watt styler operates on 230 V~ 50 Hz ...  Read the complete review
