White or Pink? Pink or White? Pink or Pink? White or White?
8 bottles, eight ranges all very confusing if you don't have your witts about you and purchase the right one.
You really need to make sure you pick the right shampoo and conditioner up as they all look the same.
Its a fabulous looking brand and very current and cool and repersents VO5 very well.
This REVIVE me range, says it all. If your feeling a bit flat and in need of hair revival, you won't go wrong with this.
The best thing about VO5 is that I find it perfect for those with thicker or fuller hair as this won't make your hair explode! with volume. It is kind and gorgeous to your locks and loves them as much as you do.
I think this works because of the combination of the five oils within the product.
GRAPE SEEN OIL
You only need to apply a small amount, there's no point in wasting this as it will last a long time. You can definitely feel the qaulity of the oils within the cream, it is luxurious and rich.
This nourishes your hair from root to tip. I always tend to leave this in a little longer than recommended.
Normally I tend to work hair oils into my hair before styling with straighteners to protect my hair but this really helped just by itself. I know its naughty to do not protect the hair beforehand but the softness and silkness was amzing and I didn't want to ruin it!
My hair felt more flyaway and my roots lifted , my hair definitely felt that they had more volume.
My hair has been in many different conditions over the years; greasy and dull when I was young, then damaged and dried out by perms in later years - currently it has just been very lack lustre and tired looking. I have tried nourishing conditioners with mixed results. Initially some of these have worked well - but many seem to leave too much product on my hair shafts and although it looks fine on day one, by day two my hair has started to look greasy and flat.
I tried this new Alberto VO5 conditioner - not in connection with the matching shampoo product - just with my normal shampoo. I bought it because I'd run out of conditioner and it was on offer. I had no particular expectations but was encouraged by the description on the front of the bottle which says it could 'refresh tired, limp or dull hair for stunning results.' The product is suitable for everyday use. I bought the conditioner for 'normal hair' so all the females in our house could use it if they wanted.
The back of the white, recyclable, wine-shaped bottle says 'your hair is as unique as you are and has individual needs...this conditioner has Adaptive Haircare Technology@ which adjusts giving you the nourishment you need where you need it.'
It says it is enriched with an essential 5 oil blend of Avocado Oil, Argan Oil, Apricot Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil and is also infused with extract of white tea.
The instructions tell you use the product in combination with the VO5 Revive Me Daily Shampoo. I would imagine doing that gives you the best results. After using your shampoo, it advises you to work the conditioner into the mid lengths and ends of your hair and rinse thoroughly.
I used this with another 'normal' variety shampoo brand and I was still impressed with the results from this conditioner. The white-coloured conditioner is wonderfully creamy and has a gorgeous fragrance to it - fresh and fruity smelling. But best of all it seems to suit my hair very well. My hair feels soft and shiny - uplifted. It feels good and looks good too. It really has put some life back in my locks without a hint of greasiness. I'm really pleased with the performance of this product as are my two daughters who also like using it.
Available at Asda for £3.90 for a 500ml bottle but currently on offer in Tesco for £1.95 and Superdrug for £1.97. (25/07/13)
I will certainly be buying this one again. Would recommend.
