I bought a haircutting kit after my husband took my son to the hairdressers for his first haircut at the age of 2. It cost £4.50 for my son and £7.50 for my husband. I thought this was way too much(well, I am a penny pincher). The hair cutting kit only cost me £20 from Argos. The kit comprises of an easy to use blade control clipper with 6 attachment comb guides in 3,6,9,12,19 and 25mm lengths. We have been going through a really stressful time and my husband, who has always had 'high' hair came into the room one evening having totally shaved it all off! I found it hard for a while to get used to such a small head, it was like he had taken a helmet off. I couldn't believe it when the local hairdressers charged £7.50 to cut hubby's hair, I mean it was hardly a restyle and was over in about 6 seconds flat!! So, we bought the Wahl hair cutter machine and haven't paid for a hair cut for him since. A quick number 1 (ew er Mrs) over the bath before his shower and he's always well groomed and ready to meet the world. The machine itself is very easy to use.
