Advantages: brilliant highlights

Disadvantages: the fumes

Natural believable highlights. Be subtle, be dramatic. Well Hair Streaking Kit - it's the easy way to add permanent natural-looking highlights to your hair. As special Conditioning Shampoo is included, so you are assured of shinier and more manageable hair. Create a natural, sun-kissed effect by adding highlights to the hairline, crown or fringe or add fine all over highlights to achieve a result as subtle or as bold as you want.

I?ve used the wella hair streaking kit a few times to get a nice head of highlights. It the box you get disposable gloves, a mixing tray, the blue hair streaking powder, a brush, a cap, and peroxide lotion and conditioner.
To use you have to put on the cap and pull some of your hair through the holes that are on it using the hook end of the brush. When you have the amount out that you desire and have an even coverage take the tray and out the blue powder in, (make sure that you don?t inhale the powder). Then slowly add the peroxide lotion mixing it in with the blue powder. Mix it with the brush. When it is mixed to a thick creamy consist antsy you can start putting on the strands of hair that you pulled through the cap.

Leave it on for the amount of time that it says on the instructions that can be from 20 minutes or from the strand test that you do. When you have done it and it is at the colour desired you wash your hair take off the cap and use the conditioner that is in the box and either leave to dry naturally or blow-dry your hair.

You mustn?t use 2 weeks before or after perming your hair and if you have already used it before wait till the other highlights have grown out. It contains hydrogen peroxide so it needs to be used in a well ventilated room and don?t wear new expensive clothes as if it spills onto your clothes it will bleach them. Do not let it get in your eyes. If it gets on your face or hands rinse with warm water immediately so it doesn?t burn you. The end results are terrific.

br>It costs £5.99 to buy and you can get it from supermarkets and chemists

Some products can cause an allergic reaction. It is important that you carry out a sensitivity test 48 hours before applying the product to your scalp even if you have previously used a hair colourant of this or any other kind.

This will reduce the risk of any allergic reaction and it is essential that you follow the manufacturer's instructions.
YOU MUST NOT USE IF:

You have already experienced a reaction to a hair colourant.
You have a sensitive, itchy or damaged scalp.
If a reaction occurs after you have applied the colourant remove it immediately with warm water and consult a doctor as soon as is possible.

Good op. Not very much into hairdying myself. The furthest I go is chamomile lawn and Marilyn from Lush.
