I am glad I saw this product here. I had just used it last week in a friend's wedding. I have never used mousse before this because I don't own many hairstyling products. I almost always let my hair down even on special occasions because I like my straight hair and I have spent outrageous amount in the salon on hair treatments like hair rebond or hair relax and hair wax. Straight and shiny hair is a thing with Filipino women.

So, last week was my friend's wedding and four of us who are her best friends served as her matrons-of honour. Quite unique, I know. We had to tie our hair since we needed to wear a small headdress. My friend brought this product, Wella High Hair Styling Mousse Firm. It was given to her by her sister who works abroad. Now, I have read about mousse products in beauty mags before and I get it now why it is a necessity to purchase it. Just in case I need to breakaway from my usual hairstyle and experiment with different curls and curves.

This had done its job of holding my hair in place for the whole time that I needed my hair to stay that way. It is very easy to use. You just dispense a small amount of mousse onto your palm and apply to hair. Remember to shake the can first before using. I just have to say this. No matter what they say about leaving your hair shiny when using this is not entirely true. My hair just looked wet and obviously mousse-treated. I also find the product a bit sticky and if I had let some of my hair down I'm sure it will appear clumpy. Maybe, if you're more experienced with hairstyling you can play with it a bit. The smell is more pleasant than hairspray although this can't substitute hairspray with more aggressive hairstyling. But being the firm mousse that it is, it can hold up to many hairstyles that you want.

I think the price is reasonable. I looked it up on the Internet and I have found different price levels but all sound reasonable. Wella is a well-known brand and its line of products are usually affordable.
