Greasy wet look gel - just horrible. (Wella Shockwaves Ultra Strong Mess Constructor)

Advantages: Tames hair.

Disadvantages: Isn't such an 'Ultra Strong' hold and leaves hair looking greasy.

I wanted a product that did not make my hair look greasy and that tamed my frizzy hair, well I sort of got what I wanted...

Firstly this product does okay to tame hair, you don't find many stray hairs once you've used this product all over. If you're after the messed up look then it does well to create this, or even a spiky look, though I'd argue at the 'Ultra Strong' hold of this product, definitely not true; unless you want to use half the tub!

Where the product fail miserably is it's creamy, wet texture that once first applied looks okay, but give it time to dry and you are looking at a grease ball of a head. It clumps hairs together no matter how little you use of the product. Sometimes its just down to the applier, rather than the product it's self, but trust me when I say this, it does matter how much you use, you will end up looking like you need a hair wash.

I tried the product once, and that will do. I'm not one to through away a product, so I've kept it for when my hair is shorter, reducing the amount by which it looks greasy.

Summary: Try it, it may work for you, but beware of the greasy image it can create.
