Advantages: doesn't smell too strong, holds the style, lasts ages, inexpensive

Disadvantages: the initial smell upon spraying but it doesn't last

This is my preferred brand of hairspray. I always buy natural hold strength hairspray as I have long, thick hair that doesn't require any elaborate styling so natural hold is sufficient for me. This hairspray holds the style well and doesn't leave the hair with that crispy feeling.

It comes in a 400ml can so lasts a long time, I've found in the supermarket it's about £2.60 a can but if Boyes have some in a good £1 cheaper so I usually get mine from Boyes.

The can is green with a blue stripe along the bottom to signify natural hold. I believe the different strengths have different colour bands.

It doesn't smell particularly nice, the familiar chemical scent of hairspray but I've noticed it doesn't linger and that's important to me. If a hairspray smells too strong it can set my asthma off and if it does then lingers I'm wheezing for hours! This dissipates rapidly so no worries there.

It does of course get sticky if it gets wet in the rain but there's no avoiding that aspect! It brushes out quite well and only leaves a feeling of mild residue so it's better than others.

It holds my style, albeit not anything dramatic, all day without any reapplying. Highly recommended.
