“ Brand: Wella / Type: Hair Shampoo „
i am a hairdresser. Some of my clients want a platinum blonde effect or very white blone or even just blone. i reccommend this wella sp silver shampoo when the hair has slight yellow tones or orange tones. If there is only slight bit of un wanted tone then i reccommend for my client to use it once a week. If there is alot of unwanted tone i reccommend to use it everyother day, although if a build up starts to appear, to use it once a week.
I class a build up as a purple grey tone to the blonde, this is when the shampoo is being used too frequently.
although at this moment in time it is in to have silver/ grey highlights or flashes of grey, so this shampoo does come in handy for this. if this effect is desired i recommend using the shampoo every time and maybe left on a few extra minutes, as it is working as a toner too.
if you have highlights, it is okay to use it all over your hair as it doesn't really make any diffrenece to the rest of the hair. It just make sthe blonde stand out.
in other ranges there is also silver/purple mouses and other shampoos which work too, if this is a bit too expensive. although for the price it does last a long time as you don't need to use much.
As I'm not a natural blonde my hairdreseer recommended me this shampoo for when my tresses were starting to look a bit brassy in between colours. This product removes the brassy tones from your hair and brightens up your blonde.
At upwards of £8.00 depending on where you shop, this is not a cheap shampoo and the price initially put me off. I was reassured by my hairdresser that only occasional use was needed and it would keep my hair nice and bright, so I splurged out to give it a go.
One of my favourite things about this is the colour, a rich deep shiny purple which initially makes you think twice about lathering up your lovely blonde locks with it!
A bas point is that it smells a bit chemically to me, but as it does the job I can get over this.
The effect is brilliant, I use this once a week or so when my hair is starting to look a bit brassy to keep my blonde looking nice and bright.
As you don't need to use this very often in my opinion the price is worth it, I wouldn't spend that much on an everyday shampoo.
IF you have hair like mine white-ish blonde this shampoo is perfect!
Its blue in colour and it takes the yellow colour out of the blonde, its realy strong so u only need to use it once a week, put it in like any other shampoo and then was it out, if you leave it in too long you hair does tend to go a slight blue-grey colour but if your looking for a realy white blonde look its the best shampoo there is!
You can get it online from any hairdressers who stock Wella poducts ,its a little pricy most ive found it for was£10 but its worth it .
You dont need to use it every was its more like a top-up toner use once a week and it can last months. i would recommend this to anyone whos looking to get a whiter/grey finish to there hair and get rid of that horrid yellow colour that you sometimes get with bleach
Turn grey hair into a silver shine!
