Advantages: Darker shades great for redheads, doesnt damage hair, is semi-permanent, can be removed immediately if desired, nice smell

Disadvantages: none that i know of

After years of frustratingly searching for a colouring product which worked well with my red hair to no avail, I have finally found it in the Wella Viva On/Off System.

Fellow redheads will know how annoying it is to be faced with product upon product mentioning no suitability at all to red heads.

I have been told countless of times by hairdressers that 'red hair is the hardest to lift with colouring'

After deciding to try the on/off system, I chose the mahogany colour and went for it.

After a surprisingly easy application with no mess, I couldnt believe the end results.

The finished colour was lovely and really suited me, it wasnt too dark and the coverage was even. Although admittedly it wasnt the same colour as the model on the box - it was lighter!

Another noticeable feature was the nice smell the lotion had, very nice in comparison to some of the other colouring products on the market.

Although semi-permanent, this product works wonders for redheads and can be removed very easily without any damage to hair.

I did, however, try a lighter shade and the results werent as good - infact I didnt notice much of a difference at all.

So if your a redhead and want to darken your natural colour, I would recommend this product.
