Viva Colour mousse...great colour (Wella Viva Colour)
Member Name: clareh
Advantages: Lasting power, Good range of colours, easy to use Disadvantages: Messy, Colour not exactly as on the packet
This mousse came out a while ago and at that time the range of semi-permanent(6-8 washes) hair colours were not very good. Viva colour mousse was an exception. I've used two colour of the range, Bordeaux (a rich mahogony) and Cassis (a deep mahogany) The mousse was very easy to use, came in a blue compressed tube and smelt ok compared to some of the worst I've smelt (baring in mind i used to work in a hairdressers and had to suffer from the smell of peroxide every week) Bordeaux turned out to be a rather bright reddish brown (not exactlty as i expected) which is why i tried Cassis (as i wanted a darker colour) the colour was satisfactory and the stay on both dyes was fantastic. although reds are proved to fade quicker than any other dye i was pleased with this dyes performance. The only fault was i found it rather messy, (My parents came in and asked why they're was blood in the bathroom)...I said i'd dyed...hahaha get it died? oh never mind. I have recommended this colour to a couple of friends and i am quite tempted to try a few others colours as they're rather natrual yet vivid. Summary: |
