Advantages: special price at the moment

Disadvantages: didn't make any difference to dry hair

I had been using pantene pro-v fairly religiously for quite a while and had found it to be the best shampoo for my rather dry hair. Being naturally curly and thick it takes a lot of taming and moisturising. When the new range came out I found that Pantene no longer cut it so I decided to try the new Wella range, given the rather glowing advertising campaign and they're normally a brand that I would trust.

I've been using it for about 3 weeks now, and frankly there's been no difference to my hair whatsoever. It's still particularly dry, and even after slapping on rather a lot of leave-in conditioner which I normally do, it still doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

I've only tried the shampoo as the condition for dry hair never seems to be on the shelf when I've had a look. I thought (naively maybe) that if I used both in conjunction with one another it may make a difference.

So, if you have truly dry hair I would shop around some more as I've found that it's made no difference.

Hi, with similar hair to that you described, my dad always uses Body Shop shampoo- any that is recommended for dry hair. Good luck
