A wonderful product that leaves your hair in its best condition

I have recently been trying to use more natural products in my beauty regime. I heard that most shampoos use a lot of sulphates which are actually not very good for your hair so I started thinking about alternatives that did not include them. I came across Wen. Its was a totally different experience to anything l had used on my hair before, however once I got past this initial shock I found that I actually quite enjoyed using it and it was having a really good effect on my hair. Ok so its expensive I wont lie. When you go onto Wen's website you will see all the different options you can buy, I chose to get the three month deluxe package in which I got two of the biggest bottles, the hair styling creme, a pot of intensive treatment creme and volumising spray. This cost me £59.99! but they let you break this into three monthly instalments of £19.99 plus the postage and packing which is added to your first payment. Yes it is a lot but as this product was going to be acting as both shampoo and conditioner and was claiming to be a three month supply I thought that actually it doesn't work out too bad as I was also getting the styling gel, intensive treatment mask and volumising spray into the bargain, which would save me buying other hair products too, so I decided to go ahead with this deal as the closer was that if you are not satisfied you get to post it back to them (even if you have used all the products up!) within 60 days for a full refund! Pretty good I thought. So to the performance. Once you get your head around how to use this product correctly (details of how to do so are sent with your order) then the results, for me anyway, are pretty impressive. Before I used to suffer with frizzy hair, Wen claims that this may be because of your shampoo containing sulphates. Even after the first wash with Wen my hair became smoother and frizz free. The longer I used the product the better my hair became until not having frizzy hair has just become a normal thing for me now. As it does not lather like a normal shampoo I thought at first was it cleaning my hair properly, but to be honest my hair feels perfectly clean and is very manageable, the styling creme I got free too is also very good. Before I used to use Paul Mitchel Superskinny as a frizz eliminator serum, now I use the Wen styling creme I got free in my package and it does a beautiful job on my hair leaving it extra smooth and sleek. The amount you need to use naturally varies on your hair length and thickness. My hair is long and thick so I use between 10-12 pumps each time I wash. I calculated that on average my supply of two large bottles lasts me approximately 2 and 1/2 months, just short of the three months they claim it will, however I do wash my hair everyday and as I mentioned my hair is very long and thick, so for someone with shorter hair or perhaps someone who washes their hair every second day then this could definitely last them the three months. I also dye my hair regularly, so before using Wen it would get very dry at the ends and sometimes it would snap off. That's where the intensive treatment mask I got in package came in, it gives your hair an extra boost of moisture and leaves it really glossy and healthy feeling. I use it weekly however I would say that my hair is in better condition now than it has ever been and I could even get away with using the intensive treatment less than weekly if I wanted. I am now on my second shipment of Wen which is my second three month package with the extras included. I am so happy with Wen, at £19.99 per month for me its definitely worth it as I probably would have spent that or more in the past on haircare and I am getting everything I need with this package, plus the results are way better. It sounds strange but I would be very upset if I had to use normal shampoo on my hair again, now that I am using a natural product that leaves my hair in such great condition I don't want to put anything on it with harsh chemicals. If you were wondering about the fragrance (sweet almond and mint) its a lovely fresh sweet minty fragrance that smells natural and clean. Its not too powerful and your hair is not left heavily perfumed just beautifully clean and radiant. Yes I definitely recommend this product, but I understand that it may not be a viable option for some due to the price, however if you are like me and spend a fortune searching for that wonder product for your hair, then you may be like me and just have found it!
