Advantages: Do a good enough job

Disadvantages: Stop doing as good a job as they do with age

I recieved a pair of wide plated wet to straights as a christmas present 2 years ago as I have very wavy bushey uncontrollable hair and love to straighten my hair but hadnt found the right straighteners as none of them could do the job.

But these where a god send they saved me hours of blowdrying and messing about and kept my hair glossy and soft they heat up very quickly and have settings so you can choose the heat suitable for your hair type (carefull they get VERY hot)

The downside to these straighteners Is that after a few hours my hair began to go wavy and kinky again so the results although the best Id had In any straightener up to then wer good they only lasted a few hours.

Also the metal became very skanky looking and actually started to interfere with how well the actual straighteners straightened my hair and iv tryed absolutley everything to make them cleaner to no avail and at a cost of £80 when they first came out they cost quite a bit but did come with a heat protecting mat and instructions in all id say a fair enough buy.

And although i dont use them as much since getting my ghds Id still recomend them as the next best to ghds.
