==ARGOS VALUE COMPACT 1200 WATT COMPACT HAIR DRYER==
After my cheap ASDA hairdryer was sent back to the store faulty, I was on the hunt for a new one. I considered getting a Boots 1600w one, until I saw the price (£8.56 or £9.50) I scrapped that idea. I then spotted the Visiq 1200w hairdryer, but then, I spotted the Argos value range compact 1200w hair dryer...
==HOW I GOT IT & PRICE==
I went into Argos and went to the catalouges, then I checked the stock and 3 were available to buy from upstairs. I then went to the counter, paid £3.97 and the woman at the till (really nicely) gave me a receipt and my collection area and number. Fast forward four minutes later, I was walking out of Argos carrying a small box carrying an Argos value compact 1200w hairdryer.
==WHAT IT'S LIKE==
The hairdryer itself comes in a white box with the Argos value logo with the words 'compact hair dryer' in blue on the box.. A picture of the hairdryer is sketched in blue. On the side it states 'Personal care at a stylish price' and on the other side, a few features are explained.
The hairdryer is a silver/black colour with a black filter grille and half of the handle is black. The rest of the dryer (apart from the concentrator) is grey. It is quite compact and a dual voltage switch is included too.
=='''FEATURES (that I find useful)'''==
1200 watts of power
Compact design for easy storage
2 heat settings
Coccentrator nozzle for crontolled styling
Professional DC motor (long life motor)
I took out the hairdryer and unravelled the cord, then snapped the concentrator on and tested it after I had a shower...
People often explain how the cord is too short, it's fine for me however, and for the size of the hairdryer, it is quite long. I plugged it in and... with the concentrator on, perfect! I have average length hair, and with the concentrator snapped on and rotated flatways, it dries my hair in 2 minutes flat! It's the same way the other wasy too! Without the concentrator, it's like having a diffuser!
This hair dryer is perfect for my holidays, it even has dual voltage. So if you're in a European country, it's at 230 volt. Or if you're in America or Japan, You have to switch it to 120 volts. The hairdryer has 2 speeds and 2 heats, setting 1 is slow speed, with low heat, for gentle drying or styling. If you select setting 2, it is high heat and high speed, for quick drying.
Well worth it! For £3.97 this is a travel dryer and more! It may not have a folding handle, but the small, compact size makes up for it! Also, keep up the good customer service Argos! Best customer service ever!
